Also, is there anyone in there at that time, or are we just hoping that ppl show up? I'm thinking mostly about the noobs who might see the calendar, show up, and never come back again because there wasn't anyone there..

You're right. We do want to encourage people to use the Chat Room more often, but we shouldn't have obsolete messages.

I've removed the Calendar entry and changed the MOTD in the Chat Room for now.
