That said: I like the raise on the flop. You price out draws and get a bit of information about his hand. Plus his 1/3 pot bet said weakness. I always like to pounce there, at least until a player slaps me away.

The turn completed most of the draws against you and he bets out small again. Here I think I just call behind. I think he's unlikely to fold given what we saw on the flop and you can use your position to keep the pot small. Plus the hands he does fold are hands we beat anyway (almost all of the hands we beat in fact), and I don't think he's often folding anything that beats us. Some of the hands we beat will bet the river, so we can pick up some extra money from them by letting them bluff.

Without a read, you clearly can't call the river. I think he's putting you on around the type of hand you have - perhaps a set - and hoping you'll call.
