typical spot vs good opp
villain is a tough tag, capable of playing total air to thin value like 99 or something this way. he can make big calls but i think less so vs me.
he probably sees me as standard tag, maybe a little tricky though. he hasn't raised my blind much.
what do you think, other than pre flop? raise the flop for info/protectin...or with intent of making a big bluff? ever call the river as played?

i prefer raising the flop here since you will almost never ever get bet into on the turn and it's so likely your hand is good + protection like you said.
The big question is what is your plan if villain calls your flop raise or 3-bets the flop.
Without history your like seems o.k.
I think a raise on this river repping the runnered-flush is pretty +ev (ESP vs a villain capable of v betting light), prob a little more +ev than folding.

ya i think raising would've been a better move on the flop.
i dunno about continuing repping trips, and yea a 3bet would be yeti therom so maybe should go with it?
-
this looks line nuts or air so i call since you look so weak.

i think a turn bet by you is good. you probably take the pot away from him.
i'm surprised no one else thought a turn bet is good here.
do you really think that your opponent would bet 99 on the river for value? i don't think so. i think you should either call his river bet of raise it. i would prefer raising because it gets him to fold so many hands. i think he folds everything worse than trips.
if you call the river however, he could have been value betting light or might have a hand like a Kx that he would fold to a river raise.
a flop raise is also good btw. a good TAG will have to fold a lot of hands even though he knows you could very well have complete air.

std... 3bet pre sometimes, raise flop occasionally, bet turn sometimes, call river sometimes lol
