Why is Triptanes turn an easy push???

I am trying to improve my game (obv.) and for the most part I come up with the same general answers as most of the members but my response to this hand is completely different and I'd like to understand why and maybe change how I play a hand like this in the future.

2 folds, Button raises to $8, unexploitable raises to $25.55, BB folds, Button calls.

Flop: 9c 5c 5d ($54.1, 2 players)
unexploitable bets $44, Button calls.

Turn: Ah ($142.1, 2 players)

Now on my side I can't see a hand that he would call a three bet with that wouldn't fold or raise the flop except maybe a weakly played 10,10 or JJ. I think KK or QQ would 4 bet pre and he may slowplay aces or potentially called the flop with AQ of clubs or set of 9's, 56s and on the turn both players still have a 80bb + behind and to shove with probably only an 20% shot of winning doesn't seem great and were not folding alot that he would call the flop with besides a mid pocket pair?
But I must be missing something.

I think your problem is that you're assuming too strongly that anything that would call that flop will raise that flop. I really don't think thats true. I think toooons of pairs/midpairs/ even stronger pairs like JJ/QQish can flat call a flop like this, putting you on AK or something. Why raise the flop if mostly only better hands will call?

If I had QQ here, I might not necessarily raise, since any hand I'm ahead of is drawing to either 2 outs or 6 outs, so I don't mind seeing a card and letting villain bleed more money.

Obviously a mid-pair, there are more cards that will be scare cards for you, but the case is still the same, villain is drawing thin if we're ahead on the flop so no need to always raise here.

Pushing this turn will fold all hands better than yours other than a suited Ax clubs.

Griffey summed it up well. Pretty much there are a lot of hands in his range that don't like that A.

(I usually raise QQ on this flop but griffeys explanation for just calling also makes a lot of sense.)

I'd raise QQ on that flop too against most opponents. But like Griffey said, if the villain is going to spew into me i may as well let him.

I think the decision to raise or call depends a lot on your image. If you raise/bluff a lot, then raising with QQ here makes sense, to balance the times you bluff. If you call/float a lot, then calling with QQ might make more sense.

If the guy double barrels with air, calling is probably best too.

most hands that flat call the flop are pp's that aren't AA.
