I would have raised preflop, 600 to go. K6s is quite a strong hand heads up but you're OOP for the rest of the hand so if they fold, well, you've won the blinds with no risk.

As played, definitely bet the flop. If you take it down on the flop that's no bad thing.

On the turn, I don't understand the overbet. Just bet 200 and see what opp does. That said, with top pair and a flush draw I doubt I'm folding this HU.

You should just take checking right out of your game for a few weeks (when you hit I mean).

Given opp has min-raised the over-bet, is there an argument for calling and then check/calling the river? Thats a fair statement of strength from someone hero has read as weak/passive.

I don't *always* check when I hit, but it seems most of the hands I post start w/ a flop check :)
Anyway, my read was correct: he never bets when he doesn't hit. So if I bet the flop, as I've been doing for the past x hands (when heads-up started, villain had me 7:3 in chips), he'd fold and I wouldn't get paid.

That right there should tell you something ;).

Unlucky he sucked out, but thats the risk of slowplaying. In this case it looks like a good move with bad luck, but what if he'd completed with something like Q7s? He'd have folded to a flop bet, but been happy going AI on the turn and you'd have been putting all your chips in from behind.

That's what happens when you play too passively. Definately bet the flop instead of giving villain free chances to improve his hand. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to take the pot down now, if he's that passive he's only going AI if he has a hand that beats you anyway, unless you hit your flush.

I also don't understand why you don't want to take down the pot on the flop then overbet? Are you trying to extract value or push him off the pot... :?

I would also push, but calling and betting the river wouldn't lose much value.

Yes, literally when/if he hits.
If he hit the flop, he'd bet. That literally. I haven't seen him slowplay any hand all game long.
I kinda knew, due to this, he hit the Q after reraising my turn bet. Therefore my K pair was good.

I too would raise pre-flop. I also don't understand the overbet on the turn--just 1/2 pot to pot it. The rest looks fine to me though. It sounds like your opp. had exactly what you thought he had (a hand you have beat), and you got him to do exactly what you wanted him to (get it all in while you're far ahead), and you just got unlucky.
