AQ hit ace, then queen on turn (25NL)

Too many people in the pot for only two pair? Should I have been a little more wary of villan's large turn bet? I was new on the table and didn't have a read on anyone...

I tried to run it through the converter again, but it kept screwing up....tried to edit it manually -- may not be exact, but should be close enough for criticism.

Your flop raise accomplishes nothing except annoying the hell out of your opponents. Raise PF to $5, but AQs doesn't play bad multi-way.
You're either way ahead or way behind on the flop here. I guess this situation is really read dependent and I end up losing about half of these situations (usually to a set or AK). I lean towards folding. Congrats on the Q river.

I think you raised way to little pre and on the flop. There's probably an argument to just call pre but I like three betting w/AQs in position, so I make it approx. $4.00 to go. I'll also make my usual 3/4 pot cbet on the flop and take it from there.

Ok, the consensus is that my raises were too weak. In retrospect, I agree preflop. I should have chased out smaller pocket pairs huh?

But why a larger flop raise? There were no flush draws to chase out, and I wasn't worried about low suited connectors staying in after the preflop action...

I should have lost this hand to a MP2 who had hit his set of 7s. If I would have made a larger flop bet and was raised, would that be the indicator that my pair was beat? Is that the point of the larger flop raise here? To help narrow down your opponent's range of hands?

raise to $3.50 pre, pot the flop, and get the rest in on the turn.

If you want to 3 bet pf I'd raise to at least $4. You would be quite happy for everyone to fold and you would deny the proper odds for anyone to set hunt against you.

On the flop if it was checked to you heads up I wouldn't mind the small bet, flop is dry as you say, but multiway I'd bet more like 2/3+ and try to take it down. If that bet gets check raised you would have to be pretty worried. I'd still be worried, what hand that can't beat an ace does this? Would AJ or AT get this aggressive? I'm assuming of course that he's not some hyper aggressive type. I would fold or call and see what he does on the turn, but with the Q coming I'd probably then felt it, it's hard to put him on a set here. Make a note he raises medium pairs pre

Flop is WA/WB situation so you should really only be betting if worse hands will call. A worse Ace will call a flop bet so you should bet the highest amount you think AJ/AT will call. Is that amount $3? I don't think it is. Your flop bet puts you in a kinda tricky spot because you look a little weak. MP2 could be making a move (although this is probably not too likely at 25NL on Stars), but he probably has you beat. Checkraise in a multiway pot on a really really dry board = be very afraid. Villain is definitely not bluffing on the turn so he either has a set or AK or AQ (which he usually doesn't). I don't think AJ/AT make this turn bet. So it's really between a set and AK. Given his flop line I think a set is most likely here.
