Full Tilt Poker is starting their annual FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series) that has at least $7 million in guaranteed prize money! FTOPS V Event #4

In The Hulk, radiated scientist Dr. Bruce Banner said, "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." The same could be true for "bmqbal," the winner of FTOPS V Event #4.

"bmqbal" was the chip leader when final table play started. For the first 30 minutes he sat back and let the short stacks fight among themselves. Then right before the break, "bmqbal" folded in the face of "YoungSupremacy's" pre-flop raise. Boy did the rail birds squawk. The least objectionable names they called "bmqbal" were "wimp" and "sissy." Even perennial Las Vegas mayoral candidate and World Series gold bracelet winner, Bob Stupak, got in on the act. Well, the railing must've bent "bmqbal's" nose out of shape, because afterwards he turned into a monster on the felt.

"bmqbal's" first victim was the shortest of the short stacks, "YoungSupremacy." "YoungSupremacy" went all in with pocket Aces and "bmqbal" called with Jacks. "bmqbal" picked up a third Jack on the flop, winning the hand and adding "YoungSupremacy's" 314,864 chips to his stack.

"Buckster316" was the next fatality. He went all in holding pocket Kings and "bmqbal" called with Ace-Jack. The flop gave "bmqbal" a second Jack and the river coughed up an Ace for two pair.

Two hands later, "Tutnik" pushed in all his chips with 10-7-8-6. "bmqbal's" hand was only slightly better, but he had two spades to go with the three spades on the board, flushing "Tutnik" from the tournament.

At this point the rail birds started changing their tune. One of them saying, "'bmqbal' is on the way to a nice new avatar."

"bmqbal's" biggest competition came from the second-place finisher, "serialkaller." Earlier on, "serialkaller" came within striking distance of "bmqbal," but "bmqbal" won three key hands in a row, taking "serialkaller" down from over a million chips to 626K. "bmqbal" finally took the rest away when his full house beat "serialkaller's" set of Kings.

With 622 players, Event #4 went from a $150,000 guarantee to a $311,000 guarantee. "bmqbal" took home the lion's share of prize money, adding $66,856 to his bankroll.

The event's host, Robert Mizrachi, came in 36th place – the highest spot an FTOPS V host has yet been able to finish. Besides picking up some nice change ($1,244) he has bragging rights until Clonie Gowen, Paul Wasicka, Phil Ivey or one of the other hosts can top his performance.
