Miscellaneous

1). I am -7 Buy ins with one pair hands. I read somewhere that two pair is the weakest strength hand that should be a long term winner. Still, am i losing too much?

2). Important hands i am losing money with:
K-Jo
K-10o
J-10s
J-10o


3). I am a winner with A-Ks - A-10o. I am winning comfortably with most of my pocket pairs, but i am not as worried about them since that could easily be distorted by the sample size (as well as most of my stats i suppose :)).

everything looks good as far as i can see. you could stand to play a few more hands from UTG and MP though. What do you currently play UTG?

My UTG/MP range usually looks like A-J+/K-Q/2-2+/occassional SC.

stats seem ok until the sb - 12/6 seems wayyy too tight. i raise or call a lot more vs limpers, and prob raise the bb/co/btn more.

can i post mine comparison?

My pos stats are literally 20/14 in all spots except button that is 25/20.

AKo is my main spew -1300
TT is also negative but due to 2 huuuge coolers

JTo is break even (id expect to steal better?)
Ato is a loser, only slightly (raising it UTG might stop this)
99 is a loser.

If i take spewing with AK out of my range (a leak i have now definitly plugged im 1.25bbs/100 over 30k~ but i think i have been running way too bad, so im happy from my evgraph im a 5-7bbs/100 winner at 200nl.

P>S sorry for hijack but i was gona post later anyway as my results at 400nl are more encorgaing and im gona do a Gabe and take shots now on RB sites before i make a 2.8k withdraw sometime soon.

I have mostly cut out 3betting from the blinds without a legitimate hand, unless the BTN or a loose CO opens. How close should my SB 3bet range vs. CO opens resemble my BTN 3bet range vs. the same CO open? I guess i am asking how important do you think position is in a 3bet pot? (Intuitively it seems like it would be less important than it would be in a raised pot since the stacks would be shallower).

No worries about hijacking miffed.

It's possible we are making the same mistakes to have J-10o be a loser for both of us. I usually will call behind another caller instead of 3betting this hand (IMO this hand would suck in a 3bet pot), and don't like most boards enough to continue past the turn. So i am probably folding too much to continued pressure. I probably just need to reevalute what flops are good for my J-10o in multiway pots. Just my thoughts on what i am probably doing wrong with the hand.

I understand that the types of opponents we play against are quite different, so i don't think i can really comment on the rest of the stats.

I know one big reason that A-K is a big winner for me because i usually either 4bet/fold to a 3bet. Other than that i would suppose the positive results are from positive variance and good value extraction.

Another thing i just noticed about my stats; My $ Won UTG is 1/5th of my $ Won on the Button. Does this most likely mean:

1). I play a good amount of hands OOP
2). I am not playing a good amount of hands IP
3). I am running hot OOP (48% $ Won @ SD, 53% Won $ WSF)
4). I am not playing well/running well IP (44% $ Won @ SD, 50% Won $ WSF)

I only ask this because i noted that SmackinYaUp's website mentioned that, in one of his older databases, his $ Won UTG was ~1/20th of his money won on the Button (sample approx. 60k hands)

Also, i am cutting A-J out of my UTG opening range, and replacing it with some A-xs hands. Hopefully this will slightly open my range in EP, and also give me more hands4bet light 3bettors with. I recently thought, 'my 4bet range in EP is really slighted towards monsters, i should change something to balance my range. hmm.. A-xs?'

Given 200NL isn't super aggro, i think opening A-J UTG isn't going to be for value, and becuase it often gets me into difficult spots later in the hand.

My UTG range still includes A9o+ but does include A2s+ in nearly every case, only thing is im playing with this at the moment to see if i can play a 10/10 UTG game, but its too likely ill see 98d UTG and hit my raise button anyway.
