2 AQ hands (100nl)

how bad is my turn play here? CO is 18/15/3.5 over 175 hands and had been fairly aggressive. I think an aggro villain is going to bet here if checked to, and i make my opponent put more money in with a worse hand more. After the small bet i thought it was a weak float/steal attempt and i also dont want to give villain odds to draw to a straight if hes semibluffing. I'd like comments on the turn especially, but overall hand and the best way to play these situations re: bet/fold vs c/c.

only 40 hands on villain and hes 23/13/2. I think theres thin value here and villain shows up with KQ, AsXx enough to warrant a push. Thoughts?

I would bet the turn if you think villain will call three streets with Q-10/Q-9. But if you aren't sure i like check/call turn bet/fold river. Definitely don't check/raise since it turns your hand into a bluff catcher if he plays over you (and your TPTK is worth more than that!)

I would check behind flop in hand 2. You don't wanna get raised so don't let him do it to ya. I don't think villain check/raises the flop with K-Q and doesn't have the Ks.

fwiw i would bet the flop with air and a made flush/nut flush draw

Hand 1: bet turn, if you're raised i probably fold.
Hand 2: tbh right now I feel like I fold to the flop raise, I definetely bet the flop.

I like 2 better than 1, although if I decide to continue with 2 I usually wait for a non-spade turn to get it in

In 1 I think a better line is bet-fold turn

Somewhere between 30-40% equity on the flop. It looks like once we bet the flop and get raised we should shove a non spade turn.

But we lose a pot sized bet every time villain has a flush and calls our "donk" shove. And if we check we risk giving villain a free card IP. So I think since Hero is OOP we should take a passive line on the flop. Thoughts?

But if Hero were IP we could bet/call a check/raise on the flop and put villain AI on a non spade turn (assuming villain bets the turn 95% of the time after a check/raise) and it would be profitable.

I like a bet/fold line on the turn much better in hand 1.
Hand 2 I play it the same; we are most likely ahead here.

seems like ur way overplaying these hands...unless the game is hyperaggro or something, but 23/12 doesnt sound like that.

I don't mind the way you played it, although I would have bet/folded myself. You offered him close to the right price (call 19 to win 85 maybe more on river) to draw and he doesn't take it. Plus he might have connected w/ his T9 on the turn already.

Hand 2

Abysmal shove -- IMO you are totally toast here. 23/13 won't call preflop with weak unsuited Aces. KQ no spade won't call your shove. Any hand that calls you are either a moderate 43/57 dog or has you crushed (flushes and sets, 97/3)
