Villain is "wader", a 20/14 multitabling TAG over ~100 hands.

I shoved all in over his squeeze at another table earlier (he folded), and i also recently won a large pot off him when we both rivered strong hands. He most likely percieves me as being very aggressive.


Bet/call on the turn good? Turn bet size?

How often would you 4bet/call preflop given its BvB and our history?

i dont like turn.
he cant think he has much folding equity can he?
i would rather just c/c or c/f.

and for 4betting preflop i think you can do it with the history and bvb. your obviously calling if he pushes though right? otherwise the history wouldnt be helpful for that.
idk what ratio for 4bet/call tho.

you re pretty much committing yourself in a situation where it would make no sense for him to bluff you since you ll be so priced in... then planning to insta-call when he shoves over your bet?

Wader is pretty aggressive and spewy, have you guys been battling at all?

I either c/c or c/f, i'd try to take this whole leading aspect to your game out. Leads are great sometimes, but most of the time they shouldn't be used.

your turn bet looks like its designed to induce a push, so do we have a solid read?
otherwise i dont get the line. i thought flop was a wa/wb situation versus a 3bet range in bvb

I usually 4bet pre and call a shove vs. an aggro reg I've been battling and have 4bet before.

As played post-flop is tough. I prob c/f flop tbh. You could c/c flop and c/f turn if you think he won't bluff off his stack, but aggro 2/4 regs often will here. Once the flop hits you're behind even a pretty wide 3betting range so I have no problem giving up.

I ususally dont make that play but i was in a spot that even though it looked like you committed yourself, i felt that i could still get you to release the hand. Bad for me good for you......nh sir

I'd probably c/f turn. If you believe his range is wide enough that you are ahead often enough I like a flop c/r for value more.

I guess i will give my insight on the play....its actually quite simple. The Villan (lol) has been running 50/35....just kidding, i didnt have hud up at the time. So i have no reads, he is sitting at 1 of my other tables and i am currently playing 5 tables. I'm pretty sure he stacked me on the other table 5 min. ago. I can't recall ever playing this player before so I assume he is: 1) taking a crack, or 2) legitametly moving to 2/4. This is just something that is in the back of my mind for every non regular player. OK pre he raises from SB, and i have A10o if i remember correctly....i can play this hand a couple of ways.....fold, re-raise. Its a middle hand for me in this spot....eg. A90 fold A9s play (some way or another). I am definately not callin here because.......I'm not getting into that....so, just because. I decide to play the hand re-raise, he calls. So i can now narrow it down a little to a monster or semi weak hand, AK probabbly is not going to smooth call oop in this spot and AQ might fold but could possibly smooth call, AJ folds. Since I have an A i am probabbly not kicked but its a possability. But here yoou are usually looking at a hand that wants to see a flop and then proceed.......JJ-22 (again no read on opponent). 88-22 i am not sure if he calls for set value or not. OK flop 2Q7 2 suit (beauty) check bet call...hhhmmmm ok time to slow down....ok set? middle pp? AQ? Usually get a raise with a set even though its a pretty dry board. Middle pp may call once and see what happens on turn. AQ could deffinately play this way. Turn card 6 and he leads for 112......very nice info, to me this screams "please don't jam". Set....no way, AQ maybe, but with aggresion i have shown he's probbably not going to lead or else he would have c/r flop. So i jam and he calls. I gaurantee he does not like the call on the turn, to me it was a feeler bet on the turn and then he felt he had commited himself, but who knows maybe he knew he was ahead the whole way and found a way to get all the chips. When you make a bet that looks like you commit yourself.....its a very strong bet and i know it is used frequently. i think something was mentioned about tillting......I do tilt, not as much as i used to, and not after a few buy-ins.
Like i said earlier its not something i do on a regular basis, but i went with my gut and so did he.

i like villains play because it puts hero in a hero call spot. You have to be sure opp is barreling a weaker hand (eg 88/99) or has AK/AJ type hands that we should naturally 3bet in bvb.
This flop isnt great for a hand in a 3bet spot kxx would be much better for example, but at the same time ist either wa/wb.
fwiw, i like bet/call turn if i know opp is capable of pushing with AK/88/99

on the flop, i contemplated a check/raise but opted not to once i realized the flop was a slightly ahead/way behind situation.

i played the turn pretty bad. i think c/c is the best line, even though i am giving him a free shot at the river where there are a ton of cards that will force me to fold. getting the money in preflop and avoiding tricky spots OOP in a 3bet pot seems like a good idea, and i think 4bet/calling preflop would be my best line.

lol spenda, i'll try to post more hands where i get owned doing something bad like this instead!

well its not really a hero call spot once i am getting over 4:1 to call with a flush draw on the board
