It isn't on out here. I'm curious why a) Tom Brady's in the game when it's 38-0 in the 4th, and b) why he just threw another touchdown pass.

I say Pats
Guesses on the line? In a sane world it would be pick 'em but Vegas would have to eat a ton action on the Colts side. Pats -2.5? Wow. I can't believe a 7-0, defending SB champion team will likely be giving points at home.
you loseQuote:

Just checked Pinnacle and the line's up already. Pats -4, but it looks like it's about to go to -4.5 b/c the juice is high.
gabe and spenda I'll take some of your action if you don't want to pay juice
also spenda if you want action on whether the Pats go 19-0, I'll bet on that too, since if the Colts have zero chance to beat them then no one does
lol zero chance
sounds good, ill even give you 4.5 instead of 4 !Quote:

meh if you remove week 16 and 17 I say they go 17-0 you have yourself a deal.Quote:

You come around the edge, Brady takes a 3-step drop, hits Welker, blah blah blah....
Question: Are you fucking Brady up right here?
I'm guessing Brady is going to take a big-time cheap-shot before the season's out if he's in during the 4th quarter of another colossal blowout.
You can, but Roger Goodell will make an example out of you
Tom Brady is loved by everyone, why would anyone want to hurt him?
Also, in order to hurt him you'd have to physically touch him, and that doesn't happen very often so I think he's okay.
(or are defenses going to cast mystical spells on him somehow?)
Well it's easy to get to him if you get there 2-3 seconds after he throws the ball.....Quote:

I think it'd be pretty stupid for someone think they were defending good sportsmanship by leveling a defenseless QBQuote:

me and my buddy were saying this today. Someone WILL do this if Douchey McGee keeps running up the scores.Quote:

I was only half-kidding when I said that about Tom Brady. Seriously, the guy has this god-like status in the NFL (and sports in general), so I doubt if anyone will ever do this to him. If it were a punk-ass like Jim McMahon (I remember a Green Bay Packer picking him up after a play and throwing him on his shoulder), then I could see this possibly happening. This isn't a McMahon-type guy we're talking about, it's Tom freaking Brady.Quote:

Really, though, I don't see what the big deal is. They're just continuing to play the game, and if they're that much better than everyone else......so be it.
I don't agree with this crap about running up the score. If your team is losing 52-0 you should be in the bush league. Don't blame the other team for being good, you wouldn't expect the other team to play worse because you suck.
If the pats are want to play their starters late in a locked-up game it's their risk.
despite being a 'skins fan, I agree with this.Quote:
