UTG folds, loose passive MP limps, CO and button fold, do you raise/limp/fold? BB is TAGGish.
What if the loose passive CO guy limps too, whats your raising range then?

1. Raise
2. Depends
3. Raise
4. Limp
With #2, I usually raise if I think it's +EV or fold, especially with a TAGG in the blinds. I'd play the other 3 the same with TAGG or without.
assuming limper has a sufficient stack i raise 1-3, usually limp behind 4 but mix in raises also.
ya all limpers and us have 100bb.
True. This is read-dependent. Limper/TAGG who will stack off when it hits.Quote:

qft. if theres another limper im only raising 88. I hate being OOP, especially vs more than 1 villain. But with one limper im raising alot of hands because open limping is lame.Quote:

This is entirely dependent in how much opp is willing to fold postflop. If he's a total donk who doesn't laydown hands very easily i'll limp more often, if he's calling a lot of raises pre but folding to your cbets religiously raiseraiseraise.
I'm raising 88 everytime though. In general i like raising KJ and A9 too, 67s its just not very good OOP.
Whats the thinking behind 88 being the most popular raise? Just because it's easy to play post flop OOP?
Whats your cut off point for raising pocket pairs in this spot? Are you raising 22?
It's different for me, I'd raise 1-2 pretty much always and 3-4 sometimes.
I don't think 88 is that easy to play postflop oop actually. If that's the idea I'd say 22 is easier. But 88 i's just so strong against a limper's range - we're usually either a coinflip or way ahead. There's also lots of value to be had postflop when they call at least one street with 76 on a Q73 board. Them being passive, we can easily fold alot of the time when they start raising. But if we let the BB in, postflop will be much tougher without a set.
I wouldn't normally raise the 22 because there isn't very much value to be had without a set, so letting the BB in isn't a bad thing.
I wonder if these things can be used as arguments for limping behind limpers with small pairs instead of iso-raising.
