Marginal Spot Deepish

I have been playing very very aggro and crazy at the table. I have 3-bet this villain and c-bet 2 or 3 times so far after he called pre in position. I’m pretty sure he’s flatting pre fairly light. He folded each time so far so I expect him to play back soon.

My 3-bet shoulda been bigger.

I'm pretty sure he'll bet a wide range if I check (since it makes sense for me to check/fold at some point...).

What is a plan for the hand you guys like? Eff stacks are 927$.

Also I think 3-betting is marginal this deep OOP

Problem is he prob thinks i m doing it light so I've prob got a big edge on his calling range

yuck. your hand is just a little better than 5x5c. i suppose if he's likely to raise but you aren't comfortable 3 betting the flop, you could check/raise or c/c and lead a safe turn? check folding just doesn't seem right but maybe that's the best. so i guess what i'm saying is something involving a check is good.

hmmm...thinking about it more, there are probably times when even if you whiffed your AK you might be able to squeeze more EV outta your opponent by check-bombing, but still seems really high risk/low reward to me.

u should def check/fold, check/raise, check/call, bet/fold, bet/call, bet3bet oop as the pfr in a 3bet pot all in relatively substantial amounts

I don't mind bet/fold but I dont know why its such an EASY bet fold...especially since we cbet pretty much ever time in the other 3bet pots.

How would our action change if we had AcQs?

its a bet/fold cause we r flipping/behind his calling range, but are often dead/close to dead to his raising range...

b) seems like a c/r with AcQs against most ppl

Just because a line seems shitty/ doesnt have us as the aggressor doesn't make it a bad line, it can just be a good line in a shitty spot.

hmmm, i think i understand now. i have yet to incorporate much lite 3betting into my game, so i can see how there would be problems with doing the same thing all the time when you're 3betting lite with hands like 76s and 33.
