If i raise i'd have to make it over pot size to commit myself to a shove, but i feel like there's a lot of FE in this spot. Should i call, raise pot, or raise to commit?

with 3 players in the pot and a FD I hate just calling with an OESD. Raise or fold. Since there is a FD out there you can rep a good hand not wanting to be drawn out on, but raising to commit looks a bit odd -- bumping it to $120 seems credible. I'm not sure if you are saying raising to commit to a shove means shoving any turn, or if it means calling if he shoves flop.

your hand is well hidden, so it won't kill action when one of your 8 outs come. Also 2 of your outs might not be good (though I doubt that, unless the other card is spade as well). I think he may be even more afraid of a spade then you. I go for a call here, keep the pot small and maybe pick it up later.

You call because it inserts flush draw into your range, and will allow you to use that extra equity if your straight misses. If he has a flush draw himself he'll probably pound the turn, which will confirm a raise on the flop would have been incorrect anyway.

In this hand your big decision is after the turn. Isn't position wonderful?

Yeah I agree with calling, we can easily rep a fd if necessary and this is a type of board you'll see cbets with air. Draw is hidden as well as mentioned.

wow, guess I totally suck in this spot. let's say you call, flush hits, you miss and villain:
1) leads 2/3 pot
2) checks

If the flush hits I go all the way no matter what, whether its two bets or raising a lead. Your range is so heavy towards a flush in this spot.

Unless your almost positive he isn't folding, then you shouldn't, but that should be obvious.

I pretty much always call here.

1) Your draw is hidden
2) You have position
3) This is a good flop for him to cbet so hes not necessarily strong
4) You can take the pot away on turn regardless

Would you call with a FD on the flop?

I'm sure you guys are right but just my own opinion.
I think a raise on the flop (because we have position) is the best way to go with this hand on this board.

If you raise on the flop

a) he might fold - you reckon you have decent fold equity in this spot & raising your draw here lets you take advantage of that.

b)he might call and
b1) check to you on turn (most likely with avg. hand, - they call flop re-evaluate turn.)
- you could hit one of your 6-8 outs (which are disguised so might get paid off easily.)
- a flush card may hit 7+ outs that you can bluff at, (you should have good fold equity again in this spot)
- another card may hit say an A but you can check behind and see the river for free. (because of flop raise.)

b2) He may bet the turn
- you hit one your well disguised outs and stack him
- you are forced to fold but if you just called flop you might have had to fold to turn bet anyway. (So you only lose your flop raise which was actually +ev in the longterm if your fold equity was there.)
- you can shove or raise bluff out I havent thought this option through.

c) he can shove flop
- you wont have odds to call your draw, so this is the best move that villian can make, but if your estimation of your fold equity was near correct it doesnt matter & + you gain ev for when you raise the flop with a made hand (like set) because he may be more likely to shove thinking he has more equity (standard and fold) vs your range in this spot than he really has.
