2/4 trouble tough spot on drawy board vs squeeze

Villain has been quiet, don't know how he got his stack. I just sat down, stacked two donks with the goods, so nothing out of line.Obvious first caller is weak/tight. I can't really identify anyone who limps button in 2/4 6-max as anything but weak/tight, so the raise is definitely scary. Most interested in flop line. Note stacks.

raise pf unless button or bb is tough. i'd play same post flop and call turn, planning to c/f non boat rivers...actually prob lead/fold 1/3 pot on the river maybe bluff close to pot on a diamond.

Why would I raise preflop? I think I would do the opposite of everything in this post.

You're saying that draws and other stuff we beat wouldn't raise in a limped pot; and that this would be a bad spot for villain to (semi)bluff raise as most of a range that puts money in on the flop calls a raise... amirite?

id include the fact that weak-tight players dont usually raise their draws that often into 2 ppl

I never really considered raising the flop bet, and contemplated for a long time whether to call or fold. Looking back I think fold>call>>>>>raise here

forget what i said about betting the river, i would just c/f it.

i'd call flop and turn because i think top pair is a big chunk of their range.
you have 9 and 6 which makes 77 the only likely set, and i don't think someone limping behind the poster is even capable of raising a draw on the flop when they're getting good odds. again, the small turn bet looks like top pair. i don't expect thin value on the river, so i c/f.

and pf, i think calling is likely +ev, but raising is a ton more ev. look at the action ahead of you...two random hands, and someone limping behind two random hands...you'll get it pf or with a c- bet hu or hit two pair way this way, and imo that's more valuable than limping and looking just for hitting a hand.
another thing is u often just hit top pair or a weakish draw and are oop with no info.

actually the size of his raise looks stronger than top pair. folding then might be better, but if i call flop i would call the smallish turn bet.

Seeing cheap flops with these opponents and hoping to hit a big hand with your suited connector is much better than stealing out of position with them.

you're too optimistic imo. most bad players know not to pay off with tpwk now.
just like 4bb on top and you get folds maybe 2/3 of the time, which is awesome metagame, and makes for better decisions post flop. also position is not as much of an issue vs loose passives.
