CO I have only about 100 hands on but has attempted to steal the blinds like 65% of the time or something. BB is a 15/11/2.8 regular capable of making moves. I'm towards the end of a 7000 hand session so I've been I little more passive in the past hour or so, but I'm running 15/13. I feel like he calls with a really tight range, but I'm not sure if I'm getting enough FE.

Fold. He's so not making a move.

He's capable of making moves, sure, but I don't think I've ever seen a good regular make this 4bet against 2 players as a bluff. Fold. He needs to have a strong read you are stealing light.

That's the thing, and maybe I wasn't clear about this in my OP, but we've been doing shit on each other for like the past 3 hours. I certainly think he's capable of making this play as a bluff, but I'm still figuring this sort of thing out since players don't pay much attention to jack shit pre-200nl =P

Provide some more insight/hands that makes you feel that way. Open 4betting is just so not something that gets done as a reresteal. If he does that then he's no doubt the most irritating 1/2 reg.

Yeah I think you are overthinking 1/2. Don't look to get it in with 9's vs any decent regular as he's not folding pre after raising to 82.

At this level people don't pay too much attention to these situations either and even if they do, they still rarely play back at you in so far as 4 betting light because there are worse players at the table they can make money off of without as much variance as these kinds of plays.

Which regular was it?

Anything but folding here is really terrible.

Two options:
1. Take a flop, but only because you have position.
2. Fold because your either a small favorite or a huge dog.

Taking a flop is out of the question given stacks and raise size.

There is $118 in the pot. A call would cost $54. The pot odds are laying you 2.1 to 1. I think calling would be OK with a good hand with position. (side note is that you must know your opponent and have some sort of a read. otherwise this play wouldn't work.)

Calling is a viable option considering the range the OP gave the villain.

After stoving it. If we are certain of the range given by the OP.

We have $118 and the villian has another $118 behind. Making the total amount to win $236.

We have to put in another $172 so we are getting 1.3 to 1 pot odds.
1.08 to 1 underdog.

Throw in fold equity for his lower end of the range.

What do you guys think?
