I'd likely be inclined to just fold it here against that opponent since he is so passive.
-
Is a turn check good? It's inviting him to bet but if he's holding a J he might check behind.
-
that minraise on flop really makes me wonder out of a .8 AF. hmmmmm. how much history you got?
if he minraises flop, i dont like anything going to felt unless you have read that he stacks off light. he likely isnt folding anything. you just need to be fairly certain you are ahead.
Q on turn really sucks here, imo. i dont know that its even a b/f. i may c/c if small in the name of showdown value. but even thats a gambool.
i just cant get off KK w/o an A up to this guy. but, that Q sure helps me drop this hand if i am going to.

def. a check on the turn. if he has the Q (which seems likely), he may check behind since he has trips and can totally stack someone if he doesn't do anything to scare them off (or build a pot). then hopefully you river the K.
betting the turn just gives him the excuse to raise you on the turn, making you fold your hand or make a questionable (most likely horrid) call.

Well recently at these stakes I've seen a lot of flop minraises that folded to a 3-bet. No reads on this particular guy, but I think it's a fairly common move that we can't always be scared of. I call the flop to see a turn plus try to suckout and get a straight.
I was thinking at the time that the turn bet had a lot of FE if he didn't have a Q/straight, and he would let me know really quickly if he had something.
If we decide to check the turn, can we really continue to call if he bets? What do we beat except for plain bluffs?

mike caro says figure out what the opponent wants you to do and do the opposite with the large bet on the end i think the opponent is saying please dont call me
