The recession thread made me think of this. The last time I was at a casino something very unusual happened. I had just sat down and it seemed this old man was getting ran over. He was talking constantly but not in a negative way towards anyone. He is involved in a pot that was probably only about 20 dollars on the flop and this younger player bets into him. The man rips off onto some tangent about how he knows hes getting bluffed but he doesn't have much either and how this always happens. It goes on and on and on and eventually the guy starts to cry. He start blubbering asking us do we know how much money he has lost? He's begging for his luck to change around. The table is completely silent the whole time before someone softly tells him to compose himself. It was probably the most awkward spot I have been in in my life. This is a grown man balling over a 20 dollar pot. His opponenet in the hand told him about 5 times to much his hand and that he was beat. The man finally mucked the hand.
For this guy to cry over such a small pot.....I'm sure he has lost a ton of money in his lifetime. It was pretty sad, the guy needs a gamblers anonymous flier.
