In order, this is my main Poker Tracker window, Session Info (for fun), Position Stats, PokerEV Analysis Graph, and PokerEV Luck Graph.

I'm losing less BB/hand in the blinds than I was at 100nl. Whoo hoo. I also think I need to loosen up a little in the CO and HJ. Any comments/questions/advice/suggestions are welcome.

looks good man. 50k hands is typically a good look at your true winrate. I would think that your button and c/o stats should look a little closer.

1) holy crap, Total AF = 5.8??! I didn't even think that was possible. mine is like 1.3 lol wowwww. Do you get slowplayed a lot?

2) I think you should be playing more hands. IMO you may be missing out on limping opportunities ahead of other limpers, who you can pwn postflop. Your image is super tight, by limping a hand or two once in a while, it may open up your villains calling range.

3) I literally play twice as many hands than you from the SB. Get in cheap against more then one limper, flop big, get paid nukkah!

Overall, things look really good. You have a >2ptbb/100 winrate over a large sample, so you're doing much better than probably 90% of all players online. How many tables do you play at a time? May I guess up to 20?? I find it hard for me to give input because our styles are polar opposites + your style works for you.

I can't very well give advice to you guys whom I depend on advice from...but drew's post made me think about limping, and spoon's stats look like he limps very little. Much less than I do.

I was re-reading sklansky's No limit holdem theory & practice the other day and in it he suggested that limping is ok, even open limping on the CO/BU. Is that more true in the more passive 25NL games I'm used to than at higher levels with more TAGs floating around?

I auto-limp SCs, low PPs when there's a few loose limpers behind. Is this bad at higher limits? At 25NL this seems like a play that lets me see a lot more flops with those "good in multi-way" hands...

I just read somewhere on FTR that spoon plays 18 tables. This is why spoon doesn't limp - because he's 18 tabling! It's super hard to make plays postflop under these circumstances.

Unless supernovaelite is your priority, I recommend decreasing the # of tables played. It will increase your winrate (possibly double it), and most importantly, increase your learning curve.

I've been thinking about the limping thing for a little bit now and I think I know some typical spots that I can add it in. I'll try out my ideas tomorrow and make some posts on it. I guess in a lot of spots I tend to raise after limpers with weakish hands or whatever to the point that if I'm playing a hand preflop, I almost always take the initiative.

I limp behind against multiple (2+ or 3+) limpers with SCs and PPs and stuff like Axs, so I'm also wondering what other spots you guys think I should be limping in.

I limp a little looser than that for sure. I only need 1 limper to limp SC, PP, Axs, Kxs.

I also will never fold PPs in any position unless I'm raised past the point of rule of 15. I guess limping these in EP is considered a bit too loose eh? I don't really find I get burned by it at 25NL though. Not that much 3-betting with all the loose passives floating around.

No doubt I'll have to revise that as players get TAGGier up in the levels...

On a more critical note: You're may be running good. 25 wtsd and 54 wsd might suggest that. 50k hands is also nothing. Wsf looks optimal. Turn/river af could use a boost. There's gotta be something wrong with the blinds. Much larger sample is needed though, and I am not quite sure how to fix the problem anyways. It's really gonna boil down to stealing more and spewing less, however it gets done.

Something you may want to do is look over how hand types do from each position. This is how I discovered that T9s is a loser UTG. Also, I bet asb is very important from the sb. I think I could get my loss from sb to single digits through vigorous seat selection. I'm not playing fr anymore, though. Just got tired of it.

Coming from a (learned) novice, i was really interested in your positional stats. Do you actively concentrate on playing more hands in position or does that just fall into your general strategy of playing? Your pos stats looklike you concentrate on only playing in position?

1. It heavily depends on the opponent and the stacks, but as a general example, if there's an EP/MP raise from a tight player and one caller, I'll call behind a lot of the time with suited connectors and small pairs, basically hands with good implied odds. I prefer at least 80bb effective stacks and tight/aggressive villains. If there's a weak opponent who folds to 3-bets too much or folds to c-bets too much or sucks post-flop, I'll 3-bet with a wider range usually. I hope I answered your questions.

2. It's kind of hard to explain since I don't fully understand how I play stylistically-speaking, but here goes. The more I gain an understanding of my own game, the more I feel like my pre-flop play sets me up as the aggressor on the flop. I think my flop AF is a little misleading, though, and it probably has to do with how aggressive I usually am with draws on the flop. I say this because I c-bet slightly less than 60% of the time (just checked PT to verify this). Again, I hope I answered your question.

You should always play more hands in position. The reason for this is that more hands are profitable in position than out of position.

Take A9o for example. If you opened this in UTG against okay players, then it would be a loser over a large sample. However, if you opened this in CO against okay players, you would likely show a profit over a large sample. The less players in the hand and the better your positional advantage, then the wider range of hands you can play profitably.

My PF aggr numbers aren't as high because I limp behind limpers some. I also complete too much in SB. Just noticed I have a big leak there.

i recommend limping from SB more than spoon.

my vpip in sb is 24% this month but I'm losing money in the position even without the blind money. It's the only red one. Probably much more to do with how I play the hands post flop than what I lose completing. I'll probably start by playing a few fewer hands and looking for the better spots to limp.
