a semi deep hand vs marshall

Disclaimer: I wasn't motivated by the other thread to go looking for him it just happened that he was at a fishy 100nl table and so i ended up playing and building up my stack until this. He was 200bb deep when I sat down.

I had him running at 28/23 over 100ish. We had 3 bet each other a couple of times but this is the first flop in a 3 bet pot. I've been completely card dead so I'm running like 12/12. Flop and turn bets were insta by him.

Am I ahead of his 2 barrel range?

pretty gross spot. I think raising flop is a better line here. Its pretty hard to put him on a range without knowing his 2 barrel frequency. Against an unkown I would fold it, but with everything that has been said against this player it makes it more difficult. The insta turn bet probably makes it more of a call.

you can t rep anything by shoving

it d be more of a value-bluff to push him off big cards with spades in them

I think shoving and folding are close to the same ev here

he prob just views you as tight though and figure you can't read hands so you'll be scared of the board pairing and the flush completing, which leads me to want to either call or shove here

yeah just fold. I'd try playing draws passively against him cause he always thinks people are playing back, and he doesn't give credit for tricky lines.

so is the cutoff for raising QQ with Qs here guys?

Well versus JJ-AA with a spade, a some flushes and sets we have 2 outs, versus quads we have none, versus a 9 we still have little.

however his other likely holdings which include AsKx-AsJx have 14 outs against us. Also there is much more gerth of range in his better hands than bluffs.

This is exactly what I was thinking and I ended up shoving. He had QQ no spades.

He ran sick hot after that and busted almost every fish at the table ending with like 550ish. :(

Peeling one card and him betting the turn here this doesnt seem like a gross spot to me, he has to be getting way out of line to 2 barrel this board. Isf hit the nail on the head, the hands in his range are weighted vvvvv heavy to him having you crushed + little fold eq. What did you end up doing?
