1) gotta call getting like 4:1 but im def. not fistpumping.

2) fine vs someone that aggro (damn at the AF!)

hand 1: idk its probably close either way kinda leaning towards fold.

in 1 if you call here with QQ you should be calling with A-hi, sometimes K-hi

on the 1st one .. when the turn pairs the bottom card ... thats straight gin for you, id be sizing my bets in attempt to get it all in. 20 on the turn, jam the river.

2nd one i really dont like even vs someone super aggro cuz of the fact that your hand has SD value. i much prefer this line as a pure bluff vs this type of player. he's definitely not folding anything he is valuing, so u need to assign a % of his range to bluffs and to Ax // JJ cuz the only real hand you beat here is TT and he'll never play TT like that. if u really wanna call him down you need to just call/call .... checkraising kills his ability to bluff the river and allows him t oget away from the hand cheaper, basically, he can play his hand perfectly against u .. if he has it, he can call, if he doesnt he can fold.

personally id prefer to look for a better spot against a player like this and just let him have this one ... the spot just sucks in general

and genitrue is dead on about your hand strength being the equivalent of K high.

Marshall, gen, Could you expand on that?

I'm missing something there.

villain (barring serious millionth-level thinking) is never value-betting a worse pair (does he do this with TT? AJ?) so he either has a hand that beats AA or we have the best hand (and A hi = QQ since we only beat bluffs... none of which beat A high).

No way am I folding this hand to him here. I'm ahead the vast majority of the time.

The reason I raised the turn is even though he's stupidly aggressive, he's not stupid enough to believe he'll fold me out with air by the time we get to the river, he simply doesn't have enough to bet by then. So I figured if he has a draw, a J, TT, or whatever, he basically has to call here as it's $36 into a $170 pot. So basically, when we're at the river he can play his hand perfectly anyway, he'll only bet if he improves, and check behind any air.

That's my reasoning anyway. You don't think he calls often enough with something I beat to be profitable vs the few times he flops trips?
