Well, I'm coming full circle back to FR (probably behind the wagon)...
1) bet more on the flop, easier to get it in. With no read I can't call turn.
2) Umm, yeah. Prob call and stack on turn. Jx def in range, not worried about any draws. If he's typical 10NLer he'll let us know if a card is scary. Although I don't think pushing is wrong.
-
1) Pot flop and re raise all in after villain c/r. You have a strong hand and villain started with 60bb.
2) No offense when I say this: At this level I'm re-raising all in, just like hand 1.
-
I probably stack off with both hands at 50NL, so I definitely stack off with em' at 10NL :o
The 2nd hand I may not stack off to certain villains. a 30/2 could easily play JJ+ like this, but probably would be limping hands you beat like AJ/KJ.
-
yeah, i folded both. Probably too scurred from the bad run I had on the day.

High overpairs (QQ+) on boards with no apparent draws continue to be my nemesis at $10 & $25NL. I've come to the conclusion that you gotta consider these situations as a little better than a coin flip... maybe 55:45 to your favor long-term. I've won a bunch of these against TPTK (and even underpairs)... and I've lost a bunch to higher OPs and sets.
I DO believe your best option is consistent aggression for two reasons. 1) Being selectively aggressive at these levels (outside of obv reads) in these spots is like trying to time the Market -- odds are you'll pick enuff of the wrong times to both fold and push that it'll be -EV. 2) It keeps your image ... both for the table and for you. These are quality hands and showing down a loss to a set on a PF or rainbow flop push isn't going to give your opps much leverage against you... you're pretty much already guaranteed to lose a big chunk of your stack against a set. Letting them know they can push you off of these hands with big bets allows them to win with much less.
Take that for what it's worth... I'm no genius when it comes to this sh!t...

Hand 1 I'm sticking the rest in on the flop.
Hand 2 I'm folding too unless I think there is a good chance he's getting crazy with Jx.
