that tilt me so fucking much when I play HU
1) Getting value from TP OOP when I flat pf
2) F*&$ing di£$heads who always call my cbets when I have nothing and always fold when I have something.
WTF!!!!???
/end rant, sorry.

The answer to the first on is it really depends, maybe ill make a long post later.
Ya please do. It's something I'd say a lot of players coming from 6max have trouble with.
yea i have trouble with numero uno
For Number Two (happens to me all the time) don't panic, a pot won is a good pot. They will fall in your trap later, it will happen.
2) narrow PF raising range, value-c-bet thin on flop but do not bluff.
1st one versus the players you are likely playing, and pretty much everyone, its pretty much impossible to profitably play for stacks with top pair. You'd have to be super, super aggro, or facing someone who is willing to call off his stack with midpair. When we raise a cbet with top pair what your really trying to do is induce a bluff with worse so we can snap off with our top pair.
Having AT on a T74 board is one thing, having T9 is another.
T9 were almost never having someone stack off with worse, so look at ^^^^^. Versus passive/nitty (and by this im talking about most regs) players, you may just want to flat and try to balance your float range. You can of course, go with the raise a cbet, check the turn line, bet the river, or c/r turn all in line for balance as well.
Sometimes against a player like that, you might want to tighten up just a little bit and only bet with decent draws and bet in position, so even if he calls you are in a decent position. And if you hit something on the flop, you should consider the strength of what you just hit. If you think the turn will not help your opp then you should trap, otherwise keep betting and taking down the blinds. Mixing up your preflop game is a good option with a player who is showing good reads. If you start raising with suited connectors, it will throw off your opp's reads.
i htink if i was playing low stakes against some of the typical nit grinders who cbet too much but then shutdown and stack off moderately tightly i would often check/call flop and lead turn with a fair amnt of my range... somethign to think about
the T9 on 9746 is a good example
good post, I can confirm that this works well at low stakes vs nits and i've used this strategy beforeQuote:
