This week we have the pleasure of getting an interview of one of the best HU players online. For those who have never heard of takechip, the guy has made a shit load of money in the past few months. The interview is pretty goofy, and no real strategy insight is given, but I hope you all enjoy it.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that you do these Danny but this guy couldn't give a serious answer to one of your questions, and to me, that's a big sign of disrespect.
Maybe I'm a nit, but I found myself getting upset by his constant BS answers and the fact that he obviously wasn't taking the interview seriously.
I actually felt somewhat similar, a lot of it though was because even though he wasnt getting serious responses he kept asking serious questions. I would have switched into the "less serious" questions a lot earlier and tried to back away from poker and more to just his general lifestyle, etc.Quote:

I thought it was pretty funny and Phil's attitude towards the interview perfectly reflected the absurdity of the situation.
Dude, trust me, I tried very hard to get a serious answer from him. I was very frustrated with him, but you know this guy makes so much money he wants to have fun when he does an interview. Him and his friend are very goofy.

Yeah at one point I just was like alright, i give up, im just going to ask some questions about his lifestyle. I didnt have much time though, the guy makes 1000's of dollars an hour, its not like he wants to spend his night (and it was 9 am for me but he's on a trip ofc) doing an interview. Yet, this is the only time he could really do it.

But if they don't give a shit than it's pretty much him doing me a favor. I find it amazing I can actually get these interviews because of these circumstances.
Just so you know I'm not a dumbass, I have your guys best interests in mind. Sometimes, it's just hard to get that out of a person!
One of the first questions shoulda been something like "is it true that you're gay?", for reasons mentionned by bigspenda

i almost posted what spenda did verbatim after i read this, but i figured you knew it was bad and there really isnt anything you can do with it. dont be discouraged though, the interviews as a whole have been very good and i look forward to more in the future.Quote:
