Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($51.15)
BB ($69.05)
UTG ($61.90)
Hero ($79.60)
CO ($46.80)
Preflop: Hero is MP with Khttp://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...es/diamond.gif, Khttp://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...iles/spade.gif.
UTG raises to $2, Hero raises to $7.25, 3 folds, BB raises to $16.5, UTG calls $14, Hero..??
-
UTG is 30/17/1 at least marginally positionally aware
BB is 26/14/1.7 same
I've been 3-betting rather light with no showdowns, but enough to be somewhat obvious altho not against UTG raises.
-
His range is definitely wider than AA. Especially since you've been doing it light. I'd probably ship it in.
-
Against just a 4-bet for sure, what about the 4-bet and the overcall?
-
Never fold KK preflop without some kind of amazing read.
-
QQ and AK are still in their range imo...ship

shove and its not that close. if these guys were super nits, than it might be a different story. even if you dont get called you pick up a good sized pot preflop, and that is always good.
-
PUSH THIS HAND... THATS AN EASY CALL/RAISE1!! NEVER FOLD KK PREFLOP FOR <100 BBs... u have like 150BB, id still get ALL OF MY MONEY IN THE POT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok . Thanks guys, I played rather spewy yesterday in general, but finished way up over like 300 hands, which is probably why I questioned this during my review.

I'll be a contrarian. When a nitty full stack makes a cold 4-bet, it's probably best to fold KK and if it's a mistake then it's a small one.
-
i see this the reverse as most here, at 50nl this is usually aces on the 4bet unless you have reason to believe otherwise. If the positions were reversed id 4bet shove with KK, but once he 4bets like that either u have the same hand or he has aa. the % of people making a 4bet with QQ, AK at 50nl is very low.
the key here is that he didn't shove, he 4bet you. its a fold. If he had shoved, you have to call. you can go on about blah blah we're exploitable doing this but really nobody is paying any attention to your 4bet folding range at 50nl
-
Neither of these guys is that nitty, but they are both passive, which sets off some alarm bells.
