it was gay. there was no intellectual stimulation, no twist ending, and overall I wish I had seen the Incredible Hulk (which I don't expect to be any good)

don't go see zohan. dumbest movie ive seen in a long time, possibly ever.
That sucks, i was gonna see it after work today. Was it even scary?
That sucks about The Happening.
Zohan is the tale of an Israeli commando who fakes his own death so he can follow his dream -- to be a hairstylist in New York City. How on earth did you have expectations that this wouldn't be the dumbest movie you've (possibly) ever seen?Quote:

Shyamalan has produced nothing but crap since his first movie Sixth Sense. Big enough sample size to avoid his stuff imo
Don't you guys check rottentomatoes.com before you see movies?
why would you go see that movie? the previews of it make me want to vomit it looks so bad.Quote:

Unbreakable was actually his first decent movie and Signs was okay too.Quote:

+1, luckily I watched the rip on joox.net and didn't waste $9Quote:

speaking of superhero movies, the trailer is out for punisher warzone, its not out til december, but maybe this time they actually do a good job with this seemingly hard to botch intellectual property.

My guess is that anyone supporting Boost's statement was pretty young when they watched it and enjoyed the action and perhaps one or two midly funny moments but watch again now you're older - it stinks.
the Hulk is brilliant imo
What an arse lick of a movie The Happening was. Fuck you Shyamalan. I hope a bush eats you.
Unbreakable was good. Then again, I had no idea what it was about going into it...Quote:

Enemy of the state is very good, heck, I even liked Hitch
Best ever film by Will Smith is The Pursuit of Happyness, and it ain't even close
No freaking way. Men In Black ftwQuote:

the story from the book and even the movie story is just so amazing that it demands a stellar writer and director. it didn't have those. will smith wasn't a poor choice of actor, but in some ways it seemed like he was due to direction imo. he seems to be trying to break out of his stereotype, but i dont think will be truly successful until he teams up with a supreme director.
unbreakable and signs were both very good, and better than sixth sense. everything else by shyamalan has been pretty much dook.

Independence Day was ruined by the let's-upload-a-virus-and-kill-these-aliens ending.

Kung Fu Panda is +EV.
Opening animation sequence fucking rocked with AWESOMENESS!
The kids loved it too, lol.
I thought Jack Black was gonna make it suck, but he did good. And every famous person under the sun was doing a voice practically.
Hey Xianti, have you reserved tickets for the Star Wars Clone Wars movie yet?
You are incorrect but we forgive you.Quote:

Wasn't the whole movie predicated on a ridiculous idea to begin with? :)Quote:

i thought independence day was good too, to clarify..
african handball?
Just finished watching The Happening it was ok.
It was what I expected it to be. I think people who came in thinking it was going to be a big twist or like signs or something could be disappointed obviously.
Unbreakable is in my top 5 favorite movies all time.
Yeah Independence Day is the cheesiest POS if you watch it when you are over the age of 12. I still own it on VHS and back in the day it was the shit.
