two nut hand overshoves
My goal with these overshoves was that they looked a lot bluffier than smaller valuebets. Std?
This guy is a nit, 11/8/2. I've shown the tendency to get out of line on another table, but I dont know if he's paying attention.

Hand 1 is silly.
Hand 2 is fine, although it doesn't look all that bluffy to me. Might be at risk of blowing off a King.
-
Hand 1, I think $12 or so on the turn and shove the river is a better line. Hopefully he has enough of whatever that he'll feel pot committed into calling both bets.
-
on hand two you should definitely lead the turn, as that line would look considerably weaker and it would be possible for you to 3bet get it in.
-
1) bet more on the flop so you don't have to overbet shove the turn.
2) I like a turn lead against thinking opponents cause it does look weaker. I don't know if it matters here cause I think you still stack a king.
-
1. If he's really a nit, I want to check turn and shove river.
2. I agree with others, leading turn is better.
-
1. Bad. A nit will not think you are semibluffing/bluffing very often on this particular board. I'd bet like 9.50 and shove the river.
2. I am a fan of the turn c/r but shoving the river reeks uberstrength. You did a good job of making the pot big on the turn, but for you to be bluffing the river you would have had to turn something like 77 into a bluff. If villain, as i suspect, has no reason to put you on this type of move, then i'd just bet something dumb like 1$ less than half pot on the river to get a call from kq/ak/aa. btw- why didnt you 3bet preflop??
-
hand 1 i like a 1/2ish pot bet way better on the turn here since you bet similar on the flop. seets up a nice river shove.
hand 2 i 3bet 100.000001% of the time here vs this villain. i think a 1/2-2/3 bet makes more money in the long run than overbetting here.

1 - Yea I felt this was pretty strong myself after thinking about it for a while. I guess I was experimenting with new lines, but I understand why this is bad.
2 - No 3b pre just because I was mixing it up and I didnt have to worry about any squeezes. I thought I could underrep my hand and get maximum value out of a lower top pair. Yea river shove is a touch big.
