How big are the blinds? How big is UTG/UTG+1's stack? How big is your stack? Are there any cold callers of the minraise and if so, how many?
i'm talkin fairly early in a sitngo the blinds were about 50/100, and i'm looking for both situations most of the time it was folded to me in the BB, we both have fairly healthy stacks about 2000 and theirs no real short stacks, how much do my requirements change when their are a couple callers.
how does this change lot later in a tourny, i know it all depends on table image, stack sizes, etc. but i'm inquiring about generic strategy.
thanks
Watch the min raiser and see what hands he is raising at that specific amount with...If your blind, I always choose hands that have straight+flush draw possibilities.
Heres a HH I just came across in my tourney. This is why I look for suited connectors. They have the best odds at cracking a situation like this.
