'most stupid things I've done before' thread
Was thinking today about the most stupid things I've done before, and a couple sprang to mind... and it got me thinking, what are the most stupid things you guys have done before?
1. I was out with some friends on a weekday night and it was late, I called my friend on the mobile from the kebab shop and someone answered the phone quite gruff sounding 'ELLO' I could tell they weren't my friend, so I just apologised and hung up. It was about 1am at the time. Anyway that's strange I thought - so I double checked my phone.. checked I had the right name 'Sam' and called it back. Same thing happened. WTF? I thought this is strange so after a minute or so deliberation of whether I should try again (I've had this guy on my phone for years) I decide to try one more time... I ring again same guy answers really pissed off now, STOP FFFing calling my house. Oh sorry... I say.
Anyway next day I'm at work we're all going out to a meeting and I'm in my bosses car, I'm sitting in the back and everyones making small talk as you do first thing in the morning driving somewhere - .. Then my boss says you never guess what happened to me last night, some retard was ringing my house at 1am - ... if ever I find him I'll kill him... it suddenly dawned on me what had happened his name was Sam too and when I put him into my phone (which I'd done a week ago) it had overwritten my friends number... So I'm sitting in the back feeling about 2 inches tall and in the end decide I have to own up.. err... I think that was me... luckily he saw the funny side (eventually) ! But pretty dumb...
2. OK this is even dumber but I was under the influence of alcohol at the time. Just take a steaming hot curry out of the microwave, place it onto a plate with the steam piping off it - walk into the living room with the food and forget it's just come out of the microwave. Put my face into it to bite a chicken piece and burn half my mouth and nose off (literally was blistered and everything). I don't usually eat with my face.. I can only put it down to the fact I was pretty well... inebriated. With the shock and pain of burning half my face off then fall over put my hand out to save my self and snap the centre of the coffee table...
