Opponent is 33/8/donk/donk/goose over a small sample size because he'll be busto before I ever see him again.

Kinda straight forward and passivish but people get silly in spots like this often enough...

Pretty standard imo.

With these stacksizes I often donk flop or reraise the flop all in depending on how often he cbets. A rr allin looks semibluffy and i doubt hes letting go of a pair and a spade anyhow..

Looks standard to me. Any other flop play is less than optimal and any other turn or river play is borderline setting fire to money. I'm never looking him up on the river unless I've seen him spew in a similar spot before - preferably twice.

IF you're going to fold the river then you may as well C/F the turn, or are you playing for the hope that either he shuts down on the river or you boat up?

His bet is barely more than half the pot - you have ten outs to fill up or make quads, and a guy who probably can't fold any spade he has. This is an easy, EASY call.

I agree, I just skimmed through the hand without really looking at the stacks and betsizing.

However one thing to think about is that he might not even have a spade so he may not give us a bet if we boat up anyway.

If he doesn't have a spade we're already winning and we should even more clearly be calling. Him not having a spade increases our equity.

Is a donk raising this flop enough to lead? I would prefer to let him bet in this instance. If you lead he might call, but likely wouldn't raise since Fnord's read was on the passive side.

Can the c/r be a bit bigger though? I know that would put us in worse shape on this particular turn, but what if card was the 8 of hearts instead? Larger c/r makes it easier to ship it on the turn if you want to, $30 makes effective ~$90ish behind with ~$78 in the middle already?

They will bet AQ on this flop but prolly won't raise it.....

He raised pre-flop, this is an easy flop to hit and the guy to act after him will go ahead and bet sometimes if he passes.

The key was that I wanted to commit (or at least get a lot of money into the pot) before the river card was delt. bet/bet/bet doesn't accomplish that.

If they bet, then thats great. hands like JJs or 99s or AJs and all sorts of stuff is going to check here.

I think c/r is much better if this spot is HU than multiway where players will even more likely check through with their more marginal spots.

He only minraised preflop so he feels less need to go after his investment. Also shit gets gay when he decides to minbet the flop or whatever (which minraisers tend to do) and all of a sudden we make a stupid looking pot sized raise and get a bunch of FE that we don't want. Also what griffey said.
