2 100nl hands please

1. Villain is a reg. He was squeezing light and 3betting light in this session. I usually 4bet smaller, but thought I'd pop it up a tad more given stack sizes. I elect to check behind flop because I still think he can call with a lot of hands plus I have showdown value, at least I think. Anyways, basically the whole plan was to check down especially after that turn given that I think I have showdown value, and call most river bets on that river since I don't think most regs here really know how to value bet on the river. Did I miss any value or should I have turned my hand into a bluff or anything?

Villain is 27/15/8 (33% PFR from CO) after 41 hands. I honestly think I butchered this hand so severely. I think flop should definitely be a raise. As played, I think turn is even worse because raising here really defines my hand and if he reraises I think I am in bad shape. I think I should just lead. Tbh I thought about folding to his 3bet. Is that just really bad? I'd like comments on not only "wtf raise flop" but how to play the turn now please. I almost want to say as played: lead turn > c/c turn > c/r turn. Is that bad?

Hand1: I probably fold pre and change tables.

Hand 2: Against my opps I often b/3bet turn, but thats because they'll usually think I'm bluffing. I dont think this is terrible as played.

hand 1 is fine - i dont reckon we need to move tables tho. u can outplay the regs at 100nl.

hand 2 - any reads on his cb'ing? most regs wont cb this type of flop awhole lot so when you c/r flop you have less FE than you may think so i really dont mind calling on flop. turn c/r is fine tho i think we should fold to his shove. leading turn isnt something i do though but we really just get one street of value on turn and river and i prefer checking turn since im only ever leading with a made flush here and not as a bluff.

Well i play a little tighter than most at these games. I like to take advantage of the marginal hands most players feel they MUST raise with. Esp from the CO and the BTN. I dont think preflop you played badly, after all and A3 3 handed ranks to be the best hand, there is no way you can just flat call. So the choice is fold or raise. He called a re-raise out of position, then checked every street? What did he show? Looks like a rarely timid AK to me.

I think the 3 on the turn means you just have to check it down.

Second hand i dont see any problems there.

1. I'm fine with pre but that's a really small 4bet. I always cbet this flop but as played check it down is good.

2. I like 3betting this hand more than calling. I like a flop c/r, as played lead turn and get it in. Better flush is a cooler.

Ben - why the change of tables? He is actually a really bad reg. Hand 2, on turn it just seems so standard on what I have though by leading. Sets and stuff I am obviously raising the flop.

Ian - pretty sure he was cbetting close to 100% which obv. makes this more of a reraise on the flop. Yeah agreed about the turn stuff because I really never lead turn with a bluff or anything so my range is very defined which is why I wasn't sure what to do.

Lexy - I was 4betting A3o as a bluff actually. I'll post results a little later to see if there are more responses.

Zook - how do you size your 4 bets preflop? I usually elect to go small because I feel that this is one of those levels where they 3bet like monkeys and then fold a lot to 4bets. As for flop, what all do you think we get to fold? I probably have a very messed up view on their range but I def think they could have TT+, AK, JTs, QJs, KQs. I guess we get folds from the suited stuff that aren't spades and probably a fold from AK. On hand 2, it's definitely interesting preflop. I was kind of unsure what to do but felt that since I was in the BB it was less for me to call and I was closing the action so I'd just call with a fairly decent hand. I 4bet small, just not that small. I think there are a few more A's in his range you can fold with a cbet. Re: QJs, it doesn't have enough value to me to warrant playing oop without initiative unless I have good post-flop reads on villain. So I'd rather turn it into a bluff pre since it flops pretty well and opps don't like to give 3bettors credit on Q-high flops.

god you must really be running bad or hate money if you considered folding hand 2

I usually c/c the flop and donk the turn a lot with or with out a club falling. Of course it's opponent dependent but there are a lot of cards you can use to your advantage on the turn.

Hand 2: LEAD THE TURN. Do it as a bluff too. If he raises me, I shove over.

When you hit on a scare card, don't expect your opponent to bet for you.

Maybe I'm spoilt for choice, but with all the good tables to play I rarely put up with a problem player on my left. I didnt really get that he was bad from your post so figured he was giving you hassles from your description.

I prefer the regs to my left and fish to my right ;)

I prefer bad/straightfoward regs on my left for sure, but not 3-betting/make my life difficult regs who are happy to play me with position.
