My Pokertracker Stats

Hi guys, just wondering what you guys think of these stats, as in what areas i can improve in. I was also curious to know when they say how huch you make per hour, in terms of dollars or bb, if it's what you make at one table per hour or how much you make per hour based on the number of tables you're playing. Any advice or comments are greatly appreciated.

.50 nl: 11 600 hands, 24.74% of hands won, 55.95% of sessions won, $1120 won, 9.66 BB/100, 9.66 $/100, 9.31 BB/hour, 9.31 $/hour,

1.00 nl: 1130 hands, 26.37% of hands won, 59.62% of sessions won, 252.95$ won, 11.19 BB/100, 22.38 $/100, 9.39 BB/hour, 18.78 $/hour

Play more hands, come back with more telling stats

How are we meant to comment on anything? You made money, well done. It's impossible to be any more detailed looking at these stats but I will say that very very few players average over 5ptBB/100 over any sort of meaningful sample. Also it looks like you were one tabling so play more tables.

I don't think anyone is jealous - by solid stats I interpret things like VPIP, PFR, Steal rate, position stats, etc....

luvofthegame, the point is that your sample size is small and that we cannot give any sort of constructive feedback without more hands. Variance dictates that YES you can run hot and make a lot of money in a short period of time without necessarily being a good player. We are not saying you did that, we are merely saying it's a possibility.

I apologize for coming off as rude, that was not my intention. I was just a little frustrated at certain people immediately dismissing my stats, because i've only played 11 000 hands. I've actually probally played closer to a million, but only had pokertracker stats on 11 000 hands. I know 11 000 hands is not enough to completely evaluate my game, but at the same time, it's not sa tiny sample either, where you can't take anything away from it. I was really just curious to see how strong my stats are through 11 000 hands, as i'm not very familiar with Pokertracker. Sorry for being rude.

The only stats you posted were win rates. I don't see anything about preflop raising, VPIP, blind stealing, etc. You show insecurity when you immediately say you aren't a donkey on a lucky run when no one said such thing. Yeah you made money, congrats. And no I'm not jealous

I'm jealous, but 10k hands is really only enough to get an indication of your vpip/pfr averages and not your results.

thankyou, i will post stats when i get that amount of hands. My style of play is very loose aggressive, and i like to bully the table. I may be on a bit of an upswing, but not that much, i believe. I've made over 6k playing .25/.50 in the last year. I recently made the switch to .50/1.00 where i've played about 1500 hands, with similar stats.

I read rather well and both of Deanglow's points still seem spot on to me. And I've won $3.8million at poker this year already. I would show you the stats to prove it; however, I just reformatted and only have the little sample at 100nl I have. You understand though right?

Your stats aren't very attractice. You are seeing way too many flops. But because your sample size is too small, we can't be sure how well, or bad, you are playing. Just wait till you have around 30k hands at the stakes you are at, then come back and post all of your pokertracker stats. It shouldn't take too long, and good luck.

This is far too loose for fullring, I'd hazard a guess you will start losing soon - unless you change your game. I suppose you may have a realyy good post flop game, but I doubt this based upon your preflop stats.

Your posts are not really helping much. Maybe you can win long term at 25NL with those stats, I don't know, but it isn't likely. The loosest good player I know is like 23/19. And stop bragging about how much you make, because most here make more. Post some hands or advice on hands in other threads, it will earn our respect much faster than "I made $6k at 50NL"

that was an exageration, as i recently stated i've played between 100 and 200 thousand hands in the last year. Alot of that was smaller stakes too. It's not like i just started playing 50nl. I started with a $50 deposit and played small sng's to make my first 500 and then went on to 25nl. check my sng stats at sharkscope.com, but of course it's only 500 sng's, so i'm just a donkey on a lucky run right? lol. my name is littlegreeno.

i'm sorry, i'm not familiar with HEM.

HEM is Holdem Manager. It's like PokerTracker in a sense, however, it has pretty much become the new standard as it's much better. It tells you all the stats that we need to see in order to assess your game. PokerTracker does it also, but however you only have 11k hands so we can't give a fair judgement.

And as stated if you have made 6k profit from playing then you seem to be winning; however, with the stats you have given so far, you possible could have won even more given how bad those stats are (no offense, but it's true).

Just for comparison you said you ran 36/18. Most players have stats in the teens in FR, such as 12/10, 14/11, 17/14 etc. You are more than double those stats. And as indicated by your stats your either limping, or calling, with way too many hands.

i'm not sure what you were saying in that middle paragraph. as for me playing too many hands, i completely disagree. I used to play far less hands, and probaly had similar stats to a tight-aggressive player, making a profit. Playing the game more and more, i found i was getting better at reading my opponents. By playing more aggressive, I've found i've been able to maximize my profits. for example, i'll raise in late position with nearly anything because i find my opponents will fold most of the time, and even when they call they'll still most likely fold when i throw a contiuation bet on flop. It also alllows me to get paid off more on my big hands. i like to play alot of hands like 87s, and all pocket pairs. I think my style is very similar to daniel negraneu's. he plays alot of bad hands, because he knows he can outplay his opponents post flop. The loose aggressive style is a style i've been playing for a while now, and it's made me more money than when i was playing tight.

you obviously do not poker, if you think stealing should be dismissed from the game. There's nothing i love more than 2 guys sitting to the left of me with a vp of under 10, i just steal their blinds all night long. I can't think of a single poker professional who does not incorporate stealing into their game to one degree or another.

well, i was looking for some general feedback and i guess to say that tight players don't always win more money. That one can be profitable playing a loose -aggressive style. Players like negraneu, ivey, and gus hansen have already demonstrated this. I'm not saying i'm anywhere near their caliber or anything. I guess i was just sick and tired of players beaking me for playing hands like 75s and J10, after i beat their AK or their JJ. If you're a strong post flop player, you can play hands like these. look up phil ivey's name at poker-edge.com, it says he's a loose maniac, or look him up on youtube, and see some of the garbage hands he plays.

It isn't always about your cards. You just have to make sure you aren't only focusing on your cards, and that you are taking into account the numerous other factors other there.
