Looks like call according to my calculations. If he never has 88 here or A9o then its a fold though so that might swing things toward the breakeven side on any play.

FWIW, I think villain has JJ+ here too which is what I included in my range plus 6h7h. With those in there its still a call though, but its closer.

why shouldnt he have 54? 18/4 or whatever suggests he either limps like mad or calls a lot of preflop bets.

preflop stats show your opponent doesnt really know how to play 'good' or 'optimal' IMO therefore i would give him much credit here unless i know hes doing this to look like an idiot

18/4 is not limping a ton of hands, imo certainly not 45.

18/4 is limping or calling 14% of hands, which is kind of a lot IMO. I stand by my opinion that low SCs are in his range.

If not more than that range because of the SB 'discount'

Remember that if you call your sb every time your VPIP goes up by 10%

so if he completes ATC or a very wide range and plays reasonably nitty otherwise he can have that high VPIP

I said call every time, I didn't say complete every time

but yeah, if you complete ATC and otherwise play normally then it would depend on the PFR of the table
