100NL,my line was too weak

villain was unknown but looked donkish over 17 hands. Do you guys often call these river bets given good pot odds? what else can i do to contest the pot with medium strength hands OOP?

As played, I don't see how you can do anything but call the river...

A flop raise turns your hand into a bluff, which still might be right. It's not a "where am I at" raise. The bitch of it is that he might peel light so you should probably follow-through a lot on the turn and before you know it we're playing for stacks... Perfectly reasonable way to play the hand though if you think he'll blink first or the river will sometimes go check, check, scoop.

I think this is missed overs enough that I certainly follow through on a safe turn.

A lot of times they fold like the scared kitties they are though....

do you raise this often in multiway pot ? The pot was bloated already preflop.

When no one else shows more than a passive interest in the pot? Sure.

Pretty easy to dump IMO if UTG+1 decides to wake up.

If you think he's calling with overs a lot then raising flop seems like pure spew, unless you're sure he will call raise a lot then fold turn but that's a pretty complex read you've got and you have to play OOP...

Hand is perfect if you call imo.

I definitely call given the price on the river and the way that it played out.

Bloated pot, nobody seems to want it with their missed overs...TAG opener, passive BB, every intention of raising if TAG cbets.....sure it's risky and you get picked off here and there, but you have to pick your spots like any other non standard play....

I'd also lead out on the turn with 77-JJ here. My 77 hand is in a little bit different situation, i guess.

44-99 would be standard value leads. JJ plays more like my hand here. Situation in OP is slightly different, just pointing out that you can exploit weakness pretty darn easily.
