man, actually im not so hot on 4-betting. youre facing an utg raise and a 3-bet utg+1. i think i would prefer a call, because utg at that point won't be sticking it in w/o KK+, in which case you know your dominated and fold.

I prefer a fold if I have zero reads. It's not that it's too common to light 3bet UTG raisers anyways at 50NL, is it?

Oh and that's not me saying that they are correct, it's me assuming the ranges in this situation at 50nl are ridiculously more tight that those at higher, more aggro 6max games.
I like calling because it's actually pretty easy to play the hand in position in a 3bet pot. Especially if utg comes along, your opponents will be playing their hands face up since everyone appears to have a pretty strong hand so trying to bluff two opponents out of a large pot is understood to be a bad idea. If you flop a pair you can profitably get to showdown vs one opponent, and you can extract value across 1-2 streets however you choose when they check to you on your paired flops because someone prob has teh QQ which is basically the nizzles.
Additional value comes from betting blank flops when checked to which should happen a bunch, because utg1 will often have AK also and give up vs 2 opponents and you can rep the purr in position. And the suitedness is the kicker as I'd probably muck AKo here for sure; we can profitably jam any flop with 2 diamonds and I would suspect profitably float or jam like a JTx one diamond flop.
How about the fact we dont close the action though?
and theres a good chance GlasgowJim checks a good hand on the flop in the hope that bodo or us bet at it.
I kinda doubt this. He's going to be shoving most big pairs pf I would think not wanting to play a flop 3 way out of position. When he does call and thinks he has the best hand hes going to have to be for protection on all but the dryest of flops.Quote:
