Getting donked into by a reg

Villain is a regular who I've played with at 2/4 and 1/2 a decent amount. He calls a fairly wide range ip and oop. His preflop stats are something like 25/19/3.

He may view me as somewhat stationy, I have caught him doubling air before however he was the pfr that time.

There is no real history from this session.

I think my flop float is ok, correct me if I'm wrong but what do I do on the turn?

flop float is fine. this is a tough spot and i don't mind anything except folding. some reads postflop would help a lot.

I think villain is quite strong on the flop.
This is how I would play a monster if I was villain - lead the flop and hope to get called by the fish and raised by the preflop raiser.
Therefore, folding the flop wouldn't be bad at all.

As played, I like to just call the turn. I don't think there's any value in raising.

When most regulars lead the flop in this spot, their range is so strong it's unhealthy. I'd strongly consider folding AQ to his flop donk. Don't tell anyone I play vs. that I said that though.

i think you should fold flop, i expect him to have AQ+ or better here like always

I'd call turn and probably value bet river if he checks, but maybe fold if he bets.

I can't imagine him tripling AQ here, and the only real draw that he might lead on flop is QT and that got there.

flop is a fold EASILY, turn is a call and fold to big riv bet.

the fact that the flop is 3way makes it more likely for me to just let him have it there.

At the time I didn't clue in that the fish was in there and after the fact I realized that this should increase the strength of his range quite a bit. So much for playing when you're tired.
