A couple of the dumbest things you did today.

Wanted to start this for a long time.
Every time I do something stupid, I'll post it here. You can too.

Let's start with this weeks highlights:

Played 10NL 5max, ended up HU 250bb effective stacks against a very weak player, and kept playing even though I'm not rolled to play 10NL HU 250bb deep no matter how bad they are.

5-way pot in the BB with J2, board is AAAJ, I bet, PS raise and call, and I pump it up once more because I'm an idiot.

22 from the button 6-way pot. board is A6JK2 rainbow. Loose-Passive player bets the river, I raise, he shoves 150bb effective and I call.

The idea is of course, if I bring myself to confess my donkey plays hopefully I'll stop doing it so much.

I donked off a top 10 stack with 30 left in the $4.40 180 by betting into a pot on every street, and I was drawing dead the whole time. Even worse, the hand was 86o:

To start off, the preflop call was pretty marginal, even getting 4-to-1. I guess I figured that it would be an easy-to-get-away-from hand with pretty good implied odds if I hit something. Unfortunately for me, I did.

I don't mind my bet with the OESD on the flop, but after MP's call, I mistakenly put him on a flush draw and played the rest of the hand accordingly. On the turn, I'm trying to rep a whole range of possible hands: a 4, 5, straight, flush, or overpair, and even I'm not sure which. When my good straight hit on the river, I was totally screwed, and it didn't help that MP's minraise looked like a missed flush draw.

Then again, if he turns over the hand I was fully expecting to see (something like AsXo), I have a final table stack. I'm still not sure exactly how I feel about my play in this hand.
