2/4 - squeezed pot, another weird play from same villain

Villain is the same one as in this thread who donked two streets in a 3bet pot with a flush draw after calling a 3bet oop with T8s. This is one day later, so that hand is somewhat fresh in my mind, and I assume his. WTF is this?

hmm this is weird.. esp given that he flatted the first raise, and then flatted your squeeze. If this was just a raise and 3bet call, I'd say he could show up with AK here sometimes.. but now i don't think he can.

This could be AQ though, and he's trying to induce some madness or something.

I suppose you could OOP float here... and I'd expect him to shutdown with his air a lot...but it seems pretty spewy with no SD value.

meh just fold, and own him the next hand!

Though I think if i had 88-TT here I'd be very tempted to call.

Really hard to float here given how little money is behind.

True.. but this is what also makes it even less likely that he'll bluff, no?

I mean a float OOP here is definite spew, but I think a decent amount of time I"d expect it go to turn check check.. river you shove and river he folds.

i would mostly fold but once in a while float- if there were more money behind i would float a much larger %. on dry ace flops with this spr you should consider leading like 1/4-1/5 pot. this way you have a lot more maneuverability vs someone who likely has a weak range but may still be able to put u in ugly spots. its still super easy to get all in on the remaining streets when u have the goods.

i've had a lot of success floating these spots, checking the turn through and shoving the river.

wow wtf. I shove here because I have no clue what he has that isn't a bluff that plays like this. Quads seem the likeliest non bluff and f u quads.

For those that want to re-bluff here, if we have 99-TT here are we calling to bluff catch on the turn?

wait, why cant he have an ace here? like AJ+? with the recent history i feel like he would be calling with a more top heavy range in this spot. I guess button's cold call makes this scenario less likely?

He can have an ace here, but its pretty unlikely that he'd raise many of his aces here, especially since given PF he should rarely have AQ/AK. So his line looks pretty bluffy, when most of his weakish aces should be flatting this flop.

wow, this is way beyond my level of play, I don't understand anything in this thread at all.

I shove here pretty fast. The floating ideas are very interesting though.

I dont get floating OOP here. What are we doing, hoping he checks turn and then we fire river? Maybe its a level (stakes) thing. People I play against just dont do that very often. I'd float here if I had the goods because I expect them to fire turn so much.

makes sense. I guess with their recent history i feel like he is leveling us here with a good Ace/33(obv unlikely)/or something we have little to no equity against like KK/QQ almost as much as he is on a pure bluff.
