100NL hands for review

Greetings!

Long time reader of this forum but not much of a poster. Been coming here lurching because your advice and approach to the 6 max NL Hold Em Game is very effective and results have proven otherwise on my roll. Don't ask why I'm just so lazy to post stuff....I just am :)

Anyways, I've been running hot this December averaging 18 ptbb/100 at the 100NL. Today has been a big downswing so I'm going to put hands for review for advice, debate, whatever. Anything really helps just seeing if I could compare my decisions with the "pros" here. Maybe it was a bad day, or got really bored, I dont know.

Hand #2: This hand is a four handed pot on the flop. UTG is 31/23/1.8. Button is new at table. Stats probably don't matter since it's a 4-way pot. Was the pre-flop call correct? Is it correct to push probably only left with 6-9 outs?

Hand #4: This one isn't as interesting as the 3rd one. Villain is 41/20/1.78 and 3bets 10.5%. I've seen him 3bet Q-10 one time on button and it got checked all the way to river on a previous hand of his. I placed the results on here since it seemed a little interesting.

Anyhoo, thank you everyone for your time and advice. Criticism is gladly accepted on all the moves i have done wrong. Like I said, I have learned from you guys on the forum even though you don't know me and I will take every advice of yours like jewels...at least the regs anyways. If you need me to elaborate more details on certain hands, I will gladly reply back with what i can remember. Thanks again

Listen to the regs by all means, they are better players than myself. I only play at $10 NL.

Agressive is good, but it seems to me you are a bit keen to get all your chips in the middle. Just slow things down a little and have a think about what hands your opponents could have.

They can see the same board as you, and they still aren't going anywhere.

Hand 1: I think preflop and flop are fine. I really HATE the shove on the turn however. When he bets small I think he can be doing that with a hand that wants you to spaz out and raise/shove over. If your wanting him to fold why not just do a smaller raise and atleast you can fold if he shoves over you. I have no idea what his UTG limping range is but I don't see us ever being ahead here. He could have 2pair, trips and I don't know the player but he could be limping K10s type hands or even AA/KK.

Hand 2: Im not the biggest maths follower there is in poker, but vs a set we have 30% equity. We don't have much invested in this pot and if we call and UTG calls as well we are in bad shape.

Lets say we call the all in and so does UTG. If button has a FD and UTG has 2pair or a set we are in very bad shape and have around 25% equity. 2pair is never good for us here so its pretty much hoping for a flush and button could have 2 of our outs.

Fold IMO, at best we are hoping for UTG to fold and be up vs a lesser FD.

Hand 3: Fold

Hand 4: Again I do not like the shove, especially with a minraise. At these levels a minraise is 90% of the time a very very strong hand. I don't know what your hoping to fold out that has minraised you apart from total air. He isn't folding AA/KK/QQ, definatley not a 7 (don't know what 7 he is 3betting pre apart from 77).

Just fold to the minraise (and that applys even up to 200NL, especially a check minraise) but most fish who minraise have a monster. And I see he did indeed have it here.

Hand 5: Yes total spew and I find many people at the lower stakes make this mistake with AK, were you doing it as a bluff or hoping he had a QQ hand and you had 6 outs?

He raises UTG and calls your 3bet. His range is pretty much 1010-AA, AKs, AQs? and I don't think he is doing it with KJ/KQ hands.
I don't mind your flop raise because you can eliminate his AK/AQs hands and your repping a very strong hand considering you 3bet an UTG raiser pre, but why such a big raise? Again make it like $30-33 and your saving yourself money when he shoves.

100% fold to his flop 3bet, he has AA/KK or a set so so often and he is like never doing this with a bluff.

If your std lines are to get AI w/ TPTK or worse you will go broke fast. Certainly if you are facing loose passives that are raising. My alarm bells go off whenever a 1.8 AF raises me on the flop or turn.

Hand 1 - preflop, flop fine, turn is the more difficult decision - I hate a shove and hate a fold. Either a small raise and fold to a shove, or a call would be best here....probably leaning towards a call, then Vbet a blank river if checked to, folding a big river bet, and calling a small bet.

Hand 2 - UTG most likely has an ace, to be betting into 4 people. Button.....players often shove flush draws here more than they shove sets, so if you overcall, i'd expect UTG to fold if he has <AK, which he will have a high 5 of the time, and I would expect to see a lower flush draw the majority of the time from button, which we are in great shape against......so I'd call here.

Hand 3 - Don't mind a fold here preflop, this would be the very bottom of my range that I would consider calling with in this situation. fold flop, check call river. He probably puts you on a weak ace and won't call with worse, so just hope he bluffs.....when he raises I'd fold, I dont see him folding a 9, which is what he has the majority of the time.

Hand 4 - Fold pre, this hand plays poorly OOP in reraised pots. Fold turn. If you don't want to fold turn, then just call. raising is suicidal.

Hand 5 - I see so many players "bluff" when they have AK, they will play it completely different postflop when they missed the flop, than they would do with AQ. No need for the oversized flop raise, this is spew, AK is not the nuts unimproved. A raise to $30 will accomplish the same thing as a raise to $55, and is saving you $25 when he shoves over.

Luke, Toadstool, and everyone else who have replied, the critique is much appreciated. I think I figured out what's wrong here compared to my previous sessions, so hopefully I'll get similar inputs from others.

I think I put a bunch of "maybes" and "ifs" on these players and not concentrating on the game 100%...maybe it's the 2 months straight of poker with no break (2 hours a day only) and possibly could have gotten tired or bored this session. I just realized I've been too aggro and spewy and i wasn't like this before. Anyways, your advices have been like gems. Off to work now (bartending, not poker :D ).
