Pretty solid first couple of episodes after the big disaster that was last season. The Tony Almeda story line will hopefully be interesting.
I'm expecting a good bounce back season.

I'm expecting a good bounce back season.
Looks like the writers have been watching the Die Hard quadrilogy.
Wait has it started in the US already? I mean apart from the redemption thing.

You can watch all 4 of teh episodes on the interweb already. There be links all over the place (altho the quality might be lacking).
Does it annoy anybody else that there's no swearing it this programme? I mean, I feel like Jack Bauer and quite a few of the other characters would be less stressed if they let out the occasional "FUCCCCK YOU BUDDY". A well-timed swear is worth a thousand kneecappings, and I fail to see how it's more vulgar/offensive than showing someone being suffocated with a plastic bag? In fact, that goes for most american "drama's", put in some fucking swearing dammit!
I read some reviews that were encouraging. But no Chloe is a horrible choice, hopefully she'll show up at some point.
Oh god no. Chloe is the most annoying TV character ever by a wide margin.
this show sucks balls.
"ba-doop, ba-doop" -- SHUT THE FUCK UP
yah saw the tony almedia thing and I'm like, "really he's dead." "He's dead." "Nope, look at us explain to all the fan boys how its possible he survived." "GOD DAMNIT!"
This was my thoughts after last season. However I'm giving it another chance since the 5 before that were pretty good.Quote:

Still love the show.
Is this a different president than last show?
And Jack Bauer kicks ass
who would win in a fight?
Jack Bauer vs Chuck norris.
The new president was introduced in the Redemption episode thingies. I don't remember what the twist was and who the bad guys in those episodes were, someone please remind me?
btw let's not talk about previews/unaired episodes kthx :)

I don't remember any other than the African guys doing the genocide. It only introduced the African conflict and the new president being a women. There was a bit of storyline about her son which might be relevant now that he's dead, I just can't really remember what it was.Quote:

ya, you're right, sorry
I must say the last 2 episodes were much better than the first two. Farfeched I guess buts that's pretty standard for 24 so I'm just going to go with it.
Excited for the back story on Bill's new metro sexual hair do
I'm pretty impressed so far. I think the injection of new characters is helping a lot.
New nerdy goody two shoes IT chick
New grumpy nerd dude with relatives at risk (didnt the drunk/chloes ex have family involved last time?)
New incompetent boss
New chief of staff with some monkey business going on
yeah they're really switching it up...
Ya, that drunk Morris hahaha
I am thinking incompetent boss is in on zeee conspiracy
Also they should make Jack run into a relative of Curtis :p
im happy with season 7 so far
and fwiw season 6 was amazing until it was like 16 hours and and they aer like "hey we've defused the entire situation, wtf do we do with 8 more fucking hours?"
So now the question is did they kill her or just give the silent clock to make it seem like they did?
The secret service agent twist was an interesting one as well.
there are times were i realize im just watching a tv show and times where im really into the story. Its enough to make me watch, i guess
Wasn't the secret service agent twist revealed back in 24:Redemption? I liked the parallel between the first man and the agent chick, "haha u cant move or talk, now we're gonna kill you"! Wonder which one of them dies and which one will be saved.
she has to live to tell the world she understands why Jack had to torture terrorists 1d0. I'm assuming most FBI agents can handle digging out of a 3 foot grave with a neck scratch, it will be pretty dumb if she dies. Also who will the 'person on inside trying to work around the corruptness that gets helped by Jananine G and Vince's director from Entourage' be if she dies?Quote:

I have hope the evil chief of staff will be evil for some other reason and turn out good because otherwise meh. Option 2 would be the president killing him in hand to hand combat. Option 3, they are sleeping together.
{edited title to indicate spoilers}

That would be pretty lol to be the actor playing the first husband. He hears he gets the part of first husband on 24 and probably thought ship it major role in 24 episodes of tv. O wait..
I can't take Billy from entourage seriously I'm always laughing at him.Quote:

Well we know she wasn't dead at the end, and the way Tony and Jack dumped the dirt showed it was a really loose pack so she'll be able to get out of it fairly easily.
She also now should have some clue that Jack and Tony are working for the good guys since she saw that Tony knew she was alive and yet acted like nothing was wrong as they dumped dirt on her, rather than at least even saying something about her not having a hole out the front of her head and that she was conscious.
I'm also going to go out on a limb and say Janice is the mole in the FBI....grumpy tech dude is just too obvious.
I just realized who this is.Quote:

I meant which on of the first man or the fbi agent chick gets killed. I suppose either way is possible, my bet is that the agent survives, the first man dies but the dead sons girlfriend survives to tell the tale.Quote:

Also, more chloe and bill buchanan dammit!
the purpose of the silent clock was to have the audible breathing instead hence she definitely lives.

Thoughts?
best episode this season imo
still waiting for the story about bill posing as a gay club owner on too much X, but whatever.
my wife and I realized tonight the FBI agent is a nice cross between Audrey and Teri (Kiefer's wife). I would estimate she gets the JB special somewhere around hour 16.
Still hope that evil chief of staff is just silly, not evil since I guess he didn't know about evil secret service guy? Or he is involved in plot #2 after they stop the African dude.
Was african dude talking to nsa advisor dude on the phone at the end?
And is diamond dude supposed to believe that tony killed one of his friends for leaving him at the FBI, yet he's gonna turn the other cheek after diamond dude tried to kill him?
Also, I caught part of Redemption on TV yesterday. I'd totally forgotten that Jon Voight was in there as a bad guy, that alone should make the season worth watching imo.
Good episode, but I lol'd about 10 minutes in re:FBI agent. She's shot (grazed) in the neck, buried alive, revived with CPR/adrenaline, stitched up by Cloe in the back of a van, and her hair still looks great. Her cloths aren't even dirty.
And and can't wait for Voight to make a re-apprearance. That will be a major win, and clock beep-beep inducing.
If we're talking about the same person I think he's gonna just say fuck it and be happy he's still alive. Tony looked like he was in control and he got motobo so what else is he gonna do?Quote:

We seem to be at that point in the season where we find out what the real danger is after the for play conflict has been resolved. I don't really have any idea what that is tbh.
i doubt there will be a real one, it will more likely be like season 5
CALL AN AMBULANCE!
It really pisses me off how every douchebag and his mother reminds Jack how much he's lost. What assholes.
Did anyone else think of GTA 4 when Bauer nicked that womans car at gunpoint? I heard 'Get out of the car' in a dodgy Eastern European accent and kept wanting him to shoot her in the leg as she ran off.
i missed last weeks episode due to vacation.
Can somebody give me a run down of what happened?
ty
Every episode online in HD, FTW:

I am real close to losing interest in this season...
Someone needs to die and I vote the redhead bitch
What a lame way to indroduce the "real" plot.
aww.... but they were surrounded by such nice scenery! A sunset of sorts even...Quote:

On the plus side, Tony looked badass.
i thought the episode before this one was the shit, this one, not so much.
I think they probably should have really let the dubaku database get lost. Or standard 24 fare would have been for it to be badly corrupted except for a couple of names to create leads for hte next episode.
Was good tonight!
good ep tonight :)
yeah this show is just getting god damned ridiculous. honestly theres nothing that can happen in the next six hours that will make any of this plausible or ok
Well i gave up watching like a month ago. Seems like I may have made the right call.
wtf this season is awesome
...aaaaaand now it just sucks.
