I started the "Furg" challenge on 1/1/09. I played heavy freerolls at the of the US sites and I placed first on FT for $15. Then I hit the $.05-.10 tables. I'll win a little one day, then I'll lose a little the next day. Is there any advise out that can will help me make it to the next level (in this case, it's $.1-.25) Keep in mind that I'm following the "Furg" rules as well.

Do you know what rules for Bankroll Management that Chris Ferguson followed? That would be essential, plus there are many threads about Bankroll Management here. It would also be important to know what games you're playing. The rules change depending on what game you play. For NL ring games, you should have 30 buyins or $300 to play $.05/$.10. I think limit games are more like 300 big blinds. And if you don't tournaments over cash games, the rules change, too because you'll want a deeper bankroll for MTT's versus SNG.
After you get a handle on Bankroll Management, you just follow the rules, play solid poker, and move up when you have the bankroll to support it.
You'll need to be more specific about what you need help with.
$15 aint enough for 10nl. Chris fergy stressed the importance of BR management and he had strict guidelines that he followed. I think ur missing the point of the Chris fergy challenge.
I started grinding with a $5 bankroll in late Oct 08. It is now up to $100, so I may be of some help. I assume you will be playing 2NL.
1. With a $15 roll, you have 10 buy ins at $1.50. That's a good starting point.
2. Table selection is crucial. Pick the tables with low average pot size. 30 cents or less. You will get more playing time out of your small roll. Something to note is the size of the average pre-flop raise. If it is more than 5xBB, change tables. This really matters when you are under rolled. Trust me.
3. Avoid coinflips for stacks. All you would be doing is testing your luck. AK is not that strong of a hand. Play it strong of course, but try to see flops with it. Don't be overly aggressive. Push all in only if your opponent is very likely to fold, and not because you wanna race.
4. Be patient. Unless you get lucky often, this will be a long slow grind. Pay attention to bankroll management. I just moved up to 5NL when my roll hit $100. I took shots before I was properly rolled and it set me back.

Nibbles, he's playing at Full Tilt, where the smallest stakes are 10nl lol. But yea, i think you should do they're 1.25 sng's until you grind up a bigger roll. Then maybe start easing ur way into 10nl
Oh. That sux. I think I'd rather take three shots at ring games for $5 than 12 shots at S&Gs. Just play tight. Points 2-4 are still good, IMHO.
