200NL: Turned OESD vs TAG

villain was 22/16/3 c-bets 80%. No particular history between us.
My raise on the flop is meh.
Most likely villain's hands after my raise: QQ/JJ/TT (maybe 99), AK/KQ/KJ/KT
A set/65/AA he would 3bet often, however, he could also c/r turn.
Against this range we have so few equity (but if our hand get's there we might have some good money from villain), that a check is better, right?

Im usually checking back turn once I picked up some equity. I dont know if thats better than betting, but getting check/shoved on sucks.

I usually bet about between 1/2 -2/3 pot here.
With 8 outs he only needs to fold 15-22% (depending on bet size) of the time for this bet to be break-even. (& he only needs to fold between 21-27% if you only have 6 clean outs.)

Given that you raised the flop and he checked to you on the turn I think you have fold equity if you make this bet & if you do hit, your hand will be well disguised and you should def get value if you hit.

(obv getting cr sucks at but at my level they don't do it nearly enough.)

I think his range is tighter and stronger than you estimated. I would cut out KJo, KT and discount TT/JJ then add back in some combos of sets or high suited FDs.
Villains don't just call flop OOP so they can fold to a turn bet anymore. That was so 2006. Take your free card and stack his set/KQ/AK. No offense, you're right flop raise is meh vs UTG raiser here. Your range look very strong and he's calling to play more pokah.

Noble, you bet and he Chk/shoves and we are fooked out of all our $ and equity. Call me a pansy, but I take the free card & rep the flush on the river as our hand looks like a FD. 2 ways to win the pot.

your not deep enough to 3 barrel bluff this and his utg raising range and flop calling range is preety strong, I would expect him to play aa,ak,kq, exactly this way, and I just dont feel he folds any of those to a turn bet, where it's likely he'll just checkraise. Check back turn and hope to run goooot. I also don't think overbetting a heart river is a bad play either.

a good thinking villain isnt going to fold anything on the turn here because like 80% of what you are repping didnt improve. check the turn and hope to spike one of you 6 clean outs.

check back imo, you also have hearts to bluff if checked to on river

Yah I'd check here, mostly because we can rep the hearts on the river. Getting c/bombed here sucks pretty hard.
