5/10: Weird river spot

This is a full ring table temporarily down to 5 handed. Villain is Eric Liu, playing 14/10/2.0 (FR). He seems to play very solid.

I'm at 18/15/4.1 (FR) and my 3bet% is 9.3. I don't 3bet very loose oop, but I don't know if he knows that.

It's a tricky spot since both our ranges are very wide here. I think c/f, c/c, b/f and perhaps even shoving all have some merit. The only really bad move here is b/c imo.

Your turn bet is mega small. Are you folding to a shove? Are you trying to induce a shove?

As played, I feel like given your turn sizing that a flush might have been tempted to raise it. I think I bet 450-500ish on river and fold to a raise.

Turn bet is for pot control. Eric isn't playing very aggro and I don't think this induces a raise. It might induce a float though.

I'd like the sizing a lot better with AcK or something. I feel like he's getting ridiculous odds on his QcJ, KQc type hands. I guess its alright if you think he's only calling suited cards here.

I checked. He shoves and covers. $950 to call.

After the turn I think he has a lot of KQ, QJ, QT (w/ Q of clubs) hands in his range.

With your weak turn bet, and river check, I think your hand looks very weak to villain. If Im checking the river, its to induce bluffs..... and an overshove looks much less scary than a 1/2 to 3/4 pot value bet to me here. (If he got to river with AJ, A of clubs, do you think he shoves for value?)

I think there are enough busted draws/one pair hands turned to bluffs in his range to call here so I SNAP. I also like a b/f of ~1/2 pot on this river against this type of player.

I think he's never bluffing here. A mediocre player might bluff here but I don't think Eric would bluff in this spot.

The problem is he sure might shove AJ for value. Maybe even weaker.

Thoughts on hand:

As played, seriously, I'd call this in a heartbeat. Unless he has QT your winning. I don't think its a bad spot to turn a ton of hands into bluffs because most people dont fire two barrels and then check the river with hands they want to call a bet with. I've certainly seen and and definitely do it. Also, because of how this was played I just highly doubt you'd have the nuts here.

Secondly, I don't get turn bet at all if your not going to bet the river here.

Third, I think this hand is hard to plan postflop because unless your facing a good draw when all the money goes in chances are your going to be losing. Because of this I think a flop check could be good, but I think I like betting the flop something like 150 - 200 range.

Now the turn is just super gay and tricky, I don't think I mind your small bet at all. I think betting big and checking are both options that are going to put us in horrible spots.

the way those sizings went down and the fact u 3b 10% in fr i think ur on top of ur perceived range here. i snap that shove (but i would bet bigger on previous streets)
