Sorry if this question has been posed many times before but should you have more or less BI's for HU (as a guideline) compared to 6m and FR or is it just roughly the same??

I think most would recommend minimum 30 or so depending on your ability to beat the level your pl aying and if you have the discipline to move down. If your playing 50nl you might want to take shots with less because the rake is really bad at 50nl.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I've started dabbling in HU on a British site where it's unbelievably soft. People just have no idea how to play because the site is owned by a TV/gambling company so you get all sorts of donks truning up lol. No where near rolled yet as the smallest limit for HU is 5p/10p blinds. I've just been doing half buyins and I'm up to 50GDP (sorry pound button isn't working on keyboard lol) already. However, if that's the case with BI's looks like I'll be there for a wee while longer :)
I'd say like 50+ if you dont like moving up and down every other day.
I'd say 50+ is ok and of course it depends on what someone is comfortable with.
I play almost soley HU and I took shots at like 25 BIs at 100nl and it helped me get out of 50nl where rake is terrible. I am waitign for liek 35-40 before I go solely to 200nl.
hey
just got my start at HU, was a 1/2 6max reg before and just thought i'd try something new so i ive been playing like 17k hands at 50nl HU recently. in any case the important thing i have to add to this thread is:
-> in the last 48 hours just over 4k hands i'm running 10 buyins BEHIND EV, take that for some bad times and if you only have 30 buyins in your account that would hurt you a lot.
What about:Quote:

20x's
50 is good.
You can do 50 or w/e, but it's really a function of your winrate/standard deviation.
play as low as you need to make sure you're a winner
