villain is sharkneballah a 17/10 reg i dont really think very much of him. hes a reg fish IMO i cant recall exactly what hes done but i can just remember thinking he played bad.

Why? We never have a T or a 5 in this spot, at least in our opponent's eyes maybe one/2 combinations of T9s and JTs. I can't see him folding 66-77 but possibly 22. I doubt he has those as it would make checking the turn pretty damn horrible.

The only other thing that I can see in his range that checks this turn would be 9d8d and 5d4d and he probably folds the two pair although again it'd be a bad valuebet.

I assumed "regfish" meant he can't handread and would be like omg four straight :/

what do you think of MP3? Are you calling flop instead of shipping because you think shark's range is 22/66/77 or because you want to keep MP3 in pot? Also it makes it a lot more likely that you can have TT if MP3 is a reg since it increases the likelihood of shark bluffing.

fwiw I have always found shark nebulargh very tough to play against. He can handread well, only plays like 12 tables and does adjust a lot.

also I guess it widens villains range if MP3 is a fish instead of a reg, I would guess he calls a lot more w/ SCs if there's a fishy.

um actually sharkskin is the type of player here to check raise this turn with his strong made hands which is the reason that i checked it back. mp3 is a regular, zap handrix. oh and fwiw i would assign this particular guys flop check raise a very strong range and would expect him to multi-barrel the combo draw so basically his range is sets if that helps with your analysis at all.

I meant on flop but actually I guess I'm being retarded and call is super standard since we're a bit deep and his bluffing frequency is gonna be very low (but he maybe sometimes bluffs here since you are likely to fold a lot and Zep basically has to fold his entire range).

With zep in MP it's basically impossible for you to have Tx and presumably shark can work that out making this spewy. If you think he expects you to call his flop raise w/ TT based on history etc. then this is fine. Your line looks fairly fos though and I give shark enough credit to realise this.

zilla - whats you expectation of his range in the BB - i personally think decent SCs and PPs and as im not a big believer in playing SCs OOP id believe he flopped a set on flop.

If i had 888 or 777 in villains spot id insta-call you river raise - missed draws and single pair hands looking for thin value make up a lot of your range and i think you never have a 5 and would you really call this flop bet with TT? The only Tx hand you might have is if you had a flop FD but most of you Tx FD range is getting it in on the flop as a big combo draw IMO.

i think if you had the straight or a big set its a value shove otherwise it looks spewy if you opp is capable of thinking about your range

After i have read many forums etc..i got a conclusion out..a bluff for each 10-15 hands..is not bad,maybe in a specified hand..but obvisuly if u do it constantly u will get caught.

wth did the guy have? value betting a set? I suppose every now and then I might think TT is a possibility but rarely folding there if my set flopped. I guess it just depends on my opponent. Anyway, good raise.

ballsy bluff after the villain bets into you on river. For this reason your bluff looks stronger than it is and in his mind you could have caught something juicy on the river and want to get paid off. Excellent bluff - villain could easily fold some 2 pair hand and maybe even the ignorant end of the straight :)
