Flopped middle set, folded on turn... was it right?

Sorry if this sounds stupid to you, I am new to this, just needed to confirm that I made a right or wrong decision..
Playing $0.05/$0.10 NL holdem.
BB ($4) - weak/ agressive player
MP ($7) - tight one
Position ($9.5) - myself
Others are irrelevant as they folded pre-flop.

MP raises to $0.40
Position calls and BB calls. The flop is as following:
Kh9s7d

BB checks, MP checks, Position bets $0.6 (everyone calls)

Turn goes Tc, BB checks, MP checks, Position bets $1.5
BB raises all--in, MP re-raises all-in, now the pot is approximately $11 with $3.5 to call and I fold putting MP on QJ or KK.

Showdown:
BB shows 65c, MP wins the pot with 7s7h.

I held 99 :oops: . Please share your thoughts.

It is correct to have QJ and KK in villains range, but it doesnt constitute the whole of his range. You need to be very sure his range is that tight before folding here.

Personally, I need very strong information before ever folding here.

you know he would probably go all in with 77 as well, I mean it's a set
he would probably also go all in with KT, and possibly T9 and AA
lots of hands you beat
especially since BB is a weak player that will bluff with random crap

also, if the pot is $11 and it costs you $3.5 to call, you don't need to win even half of the time, I think one quarter of the time or so and your call is justified

You're calling 3.5 into 14.5, you need to win here about 1/4 times. Add that to the fact that you'll win here a lot more often than 1 in 4 times and its an easy call.

dude mmmmmm yah should have called... kinda tuff spot at this stake u call with every set almost.. if your bankroll is over 20 bi'ns.:) again no one is perfect nor is poker! oh if bb and mp where to fold your flop bet u would have no value.. if u would of checked behind and shoved the flop BB folds after your raise and mp calls down :) if they where to check the turn too..... then u have to bet there... or check behind for a trap again hehe pokers crazy peace..

Everyone hit the mark.

Essentially you're playing against MP, since BB has been stated to be relatively weak & aggressive. You have his range crushed almost always here, I would think. MP raises preflop & gets two calls. Reasonably safe to assume you have his range correct, partially. Ako+, 66-88. With him being as tight as you make it seem, I don't see there being any chance he has Q/J here. Doesn't bet here, thinking he has the nuts & is counting on your cbet. Again, relating to the "tightness," that's how they all play this hand. Small bet (or limp), check, call, check, re-raise. It's clockwork. I just think with KK he has to be the aggressor. In my eyes you're killing 100% of his range.

Of course, hindsight is always 20/20. Piecing the hand together is so much easier when you already know the results.

its always easier for me to say easy call after the fact but with those pot odds is seems like a no brainer

Optimist welcome to FTR. Only comment I have is don't post the results as they aren't really relevent. Post upto the decision and let ppl take it from there with their advice.
I think you know by now folding was a mistake.
