Standard turn barrel?

Villain is 27/23/4 TAG reg. Doesn't cold call super wide preflop.

I tried just looking at this myself but it's hard to estimate how many combos of XxXh he might call the turn with.

If you bet the turn do you bet a non-:heart: river?

Id probably c/f turn, He doesnt have much of a wide range from your reads. I think all his under pairs fold on the flop, he wont float this flop much at all, will check back most turns anyway, c#he 3bet stat is small and can hold a fair few decent Kx and Jx hands which will call again if they also have a heart.

Seems like a pretty bad spot to 2 barrel to me.

I'm not even sure if he's always raising bare FD's on the flop, and besides that he can have like KJ, KT, AQ, QJ, QT, some of those only suited, some ofsuit as well and all can have a decent heart kicker.

Just seems like you're betting into a not so defined, but generally decently strong, range without much equity.

Once you bet the turn I think 3barreling a non-heart river is good as a line, but I think bigger bets on flop and turn would work a little better for that.

if he has a fold to cbet way below 50% it's probably a good barrel because JTo and QTo/QJo probably all fold or hands like TT or what have you

if he floats you with complete garbage that has no potential (floating just to bluff) then of course it's a good barrel

the fact that he doesn't cold-call too wide probably works against you because his range is weighed more towards big broadways than random garbage and he might not fold QxJh

what are the chances he bets thin on either turn or river. if he checks back Q on turn then bets blank river I may like a c/r river. Thats prob the only line id use with c/f
