Top top river spot
3/6NL.
Effective stacks are $714 and it's 6-handed.
I open UTG+1 to $18 with A:heart: K:heart:. Only the BB defends. He's a solid regular.
Flop is 7:spade: K:diamond: Q:club:. He check-calls $33.
Turn is 6:club:. He check-calls $72.
River is 9:heart:. He checks. Hero?
If the turn doesn't put a backdoor flush draw out there, does this affect your river decision?
Thanks!

just make him an offer he cannot refuse and b/f a small amount

I would have put him all in. Then prayed that he folded..lol. Nah u played the hand rather well. Can't win them all.

Villains basically bluffcatching, so I guess a small bet if you don't expect villain to herocall and a bigger bet if you think he will.
I don't think the turn bringing a BDFD effects your river decision much.

just bet, your hand is basically always good.
