Hero ...
I go back and forth between (in order of what I think is the best way to play it):
1) c/c
2) bet small/c
2.5) bet large/c
3) c/f
4) b/f
-
I hate c/c here, i'd bet half pot. I dont have any intention of calling a shove. Turn gets tricky but you're just gonna have to try and soul read.

Hah, I love to see everything is backwards.

The thing is 50bb poker is a lot different than 100bb. i'm no expert... i hu sng guy would probably be able to give you a better answer.
but mines pretty good :).

Well, I thought about it some but you think his calling frequency with Ax is > than his betting frequency with air when checked to? We love it when he folds which makes me think we're betting as a (semi) bluff.
Also by betting we'd be giving ourselves pretty good odds to make a call.
so its: b/f > c/f > b/c > c/c?
-
i mean i could see reasons for b/c but i dont really have a sense of the player from what you said. C/f seems kinda dumb also, i think if you check you have to call. But i'd rather bet, yes its basically semi bluff but its also the only +EV play i know so i do it.

I think B/F like $21 is standard here. He can float you with AJ, A9, A8 etc and mid pps that you have some equity against. C/C turns this into a guessing game and you are gonna have to fold turn barrels if you brick, which is likely. Utilize your FE and c bet this.
