Problem with playing high blinds

Hello guyz
I'm complete newbie
I play for around 1 week.

well... i've won only about 15$ in tournaments and in cash tables.

lets say poco-a-poco :D
little by little

I have a question.
i mean , i have a problem which i dont know how to solve.
and i need to ask you - experienced ppl.

I'm doing well i can say - for my experience.
I manage to go play
whole game (till i lose) 24 big blinds doubled.
i mean , if the big blind is 200

i have 200X24X2 -
i try to get more
and sometimes i do :D

but when game comes to 300-600
or higher .... OMG :-S
I dont actually know how to play that high.
can someone tell me something?

for example,
I played only in 3 hands in 15 (right now, i'm playing tournament)
and got 3.100


i donno what\how to do next... when there will be high blinds.

help...?

As the blinds get higher in comparison to your stack sizes, you don't have much choice except to try to win some chips without showing down and without a strong hand. The most common tactic is stealing the blinds, where you open the betting pre-flop with a hand you normally wouldn't in the hope everyone still to act will have nothing and fold. If they do, it doesn't matter whether you had AA or 72o because they don't see.

You mean, after blinds go that high, i have to ... bluff?
I managed to get 125k with just "play slowly" strategy.
out of about 150 deals i've played only 10-12

But waiting for cards was killing me. I mean i didnt get off my strategy , but still, i couldnt advance, plus - minus 20-30k, then i tried to play aggressive ....
and finally lost. (but yeah, i'm very happy btw, cos that brought me (ye-ye , i know , its nothing) 0.80$ :D its not bad for me anyways.)
125-130 place out of 9000 if i'm not mistaken.

but every time blinds go up - i lose.

I need to watch somebody playing.. but.. how... heck.

This blind versus stack problem should only be happening in tournaments. In cash games, if the blinds are big, you are a small fish swimming in way too big a pool. Get out.

Now, tournaments.If the blinds get comparatively high versus your stack, you really have no choice other than to push or fold. You find a decent hand (QJ, 45s, 22, A10, etc.) and push.

You should definitely read the tournament guides and posts on this site - this is one situation that actually comes up quite often for all tournament players.

How to watch somebody play? Look at hand histories. Buy poker books. You really need to do your homework.
